After months of strenuous testing by Blake Smith and other professional skaters, Volante Wheels has finally come to market with what we consider the perfect urethane. The goal of our wheels is to offer the best freestyle urethane to track when it needs to and slide smoothly when you want to break free.
The first wheel in production is the 'checker.' It is a 68mm, 82a, center set, freestyle wheel. The wheel was originally designed by Comet years ago, and has been one of the best kept secrets in the industry. Now that we are using our new urethane, there is really nothing else like it. We have found the perfect combination of a proven classic with modern performance. Our team has been stoked ever since they got them under their feet.

I've had these wheels for about 2 weeks. At first you have to break them in and they suck but all wheels usually do in the breaking in period. After you break them in they are so smooth and have a great controlled slide in my opinion. Literally every slide you do leaves a sick, thick, white thane line. The only down side is I haven't had them that long and I can only hold standies for about 15ft and they have worn A TON. They aren't really durable at all and I have flat spotted all of them. They are also loosing lots of speed now and aren't as controlled because they are under 60mm. But overall good, fun wheels and I would defiantly consider giving them a try!!!!

THESE WHEELS. BUY THEM. If you're looking at buying them, seriously, do it! I've never been this satisfied with a wheel as much as the Volante Checkers! They leave the gnarliest thane ever! and they dont wear down fast at all like Abec wheels. These wheels hand off the icyest slides that not even the big names could give you. These blow any wheels out of the water big time. BUY THEM, and enjoy riding(:

i recently got these wheels, and after a few slides being broken in, they left THANE! and not only that, but the whole day they didn'twear down a single mm! if your not leaving thane right away on these bad boys, it means your not sliding correctly. please check these out, they are awesome!!!!
Warning: the graphic does easily come off which is a bummer cause its kick-ass but still. BUY THESE WHEELS!
