This is a beautiful deck, just like most of Arbor's products. It is also a very high quality and sturdy deck. The Axis has just enough flex to carve and cruise, and is rigid enough to handle some good downhill. I've had this board for two weeks now and I've loved every minute riding it. Too bad I just fractured my collar bone, so I'll have to keep off it for a while. :(
Overall, this board is a great all around board, and if you find it not to your liking, yo can always use it for a decoration.

This is my first board, but a friend & I got longboards at the same time & I've ridden his a lot so I have a popular brand (Sector 9 Pintail) to compare it to. First about me--I'm 5'10", 150lbs. The board has very little flex--bad for pumping, but it makes it feel more stable at speed. It has proven to be very durable so far. I've been learning to slide on it & beat the crap out of it several times, & it still has no major knicks or dings. The glass grip tape is pretty grippy, but it doesn't feel as grippy as standard black to me. But this is made up for in the fact that glass grip tape takes forever to wear down. I paired the board with Paris 180's, Bones Reds, & Zig Zag 70mm 78a wheels. I made the mistake of thinking 'carving' meant 'sliding' when they said the Zig Zags are good for carving, but I'm still glad I got them because they're incredibly smooth & good for cruising, & I'm learning better form by learning to slide with sticky wheels. As for Daddies Board Shop, shipping was amazing. I don't know if this place is right next to a post office or what, but they got the board out to me in 3 days ground shipping, from Portland to Atlanta.Everything was packaged well, & the board didn't even need any tweaking. Good to go right out of the box. Excellent board, excellent service.

This is my second Arbor board I have purchased and I am extremely happy with it! This board is great for sliding, caving, free riding and some downhill. The board itself is beautiful with the koa wood, which is the reason I bought my first board. I f you really want to slide you should consider getting some O tangs to go on them. There is not much flex on this board but thats not bad in my opinion. Overall you will not be disappointed with this board, and keep an eye on Arbor, they are a great company that makes some quality boards that are good for the environment, and at a fair price.
