The classic tapered-carver - the Arbor Pin features a huge wheelbase for maximum stability at speed, and a wide, concaved mid-section for deep, open-stance, lock-n-hold skating. The Bamboo Pin is built with 6-plys of sustainably sourced Hardrock Maple for durable, lightweight performance, and a renewable, power-generating Bamboo deck that creates that clean, Zen flavor. Each deck is gripped with a long-lasting crushed recycled glass. This ultra clear grip surface allows the deck’s natural grain and color to remain highly visible, while providing better performance than silica bead alternatives. Arbor skates are made using an environmentally friendly water-based sanding sealer and finish coat. All wood byproduct created during production is reclaimed for use in other Arbor products or by outside companies. Venice based Artist, Jake Pickle created the Bamboo Pin’s stylized Asian graphic.

When I got the board, needless to say I excited, pulled it out the box and fell for it.
Awesome looking board over all.
Carved with it a bit and the thing is like butter.
But, I do have a complaint.
The Quality is not were I thought it would be.
Now I don't know if these boards are made by hand
or what. But My board "arbor" logo of the bamboo side of the board is pretty off center.
Now I'm just going to pretend this is just one thing that makes my board unique, because I really do like this board.
But something as simple as an offset logo should no go overlooked.

Fun Beginner/Intermediate board

I just started longboarding about two years ago on a friends board and decided to get this and I'm glad I did. I'm 6'6, 220, beginner/intermediate, going about 26 mph downhill tops and this is my review.
Good length for cruising and downhill. Good shape for fun tight carves, which holds well around turns. Nice graphics too! I upgraded the wheels and bearings and the board is pretty fast, which I don't have too much to compare to.
The only downside is that I have gotten some drag on the wheels when I go for a big carve, but hasn't been much of an issue.
Definitely an awesome board to start out on.
