Arbor’s compact pin - the Fish was designed with a hyper-extended wheelbase and timeless teardrop shape and concave profile to provide both carve and downhill function. The Koa Fish is built with 7-plys of sustainably sourced Hardrock Maple for durable, lightweight performance, and a finish ply of sustainably sourced Hawaiian Koa to improve return and add that traditional Arbor style. Koa wood was used by the Hawaiians to build the first surfboards 1,000 years ago. Each deck is gripped with a long-lasting crushed recycled glass. This ultra clear grip surface allows the deck’s natural grain and color to remain highly visible, while providing better performance than silica bead alternatives. Arbor skates are made using an environmentally friendly water-based sanding sealer and finish coat. All wood byproduct created during production is reclaimed for use in other Arbor products or by outside companies. Venice based Artist, Jake Pickle used the Arbor logo to develop elements of ocean graphic he created for the Koa Fish.

This is my first longboard and I absolutley love it. There can't be a better board than this! I recommend it to anyone looking for a first or new board. Great carving, Fast, and I love the design on it!

First Longboard

As someone new to longboarding, I have been looking everywhere for a good board. While in a board store, i tried this board. I rode it for about 30 minuets withing the small store, its a lot more smooth than the other boards ive ridden. The shaping is perfect to balance foot space and stability with maneuverability. I never got it to high speeds, but this felt a lot more maneuverable and smooth than other boards. I hope to buy it very soon!

This is a great board indeed. It's king of narrow so it gives you great control when carving, and the feeling is amazing! Pushing is very easy and enjoyable. It's very stiff though, I weigh 80 kilos and and it seems not to flex at all. But it's a good thing too, pushing is a charm, and the feel is interesting, different to other boards. And it's also very pretty... But I liked the previous graphic more.

Don't pay attention to the 3 star rating, this is an AMAZING board

I'm going to keep this review short and to the point. This board is really everything you could want from an old-school type cruiser with a modern flare. I've played with the setup, and ABEC 11 78A Grippins, with Bones Super 6 are a perfect match with the stock Randal 2 150mm trucks. If you're getting a board to use for transportation stay within the 38" to 42" range as it seems to be ideal for both versatility with a smooth cruiser feel. As for this board, one of the most important upgrades will be BUSHINGS as the stock randal ones blow. Get 2 Khiro blue and 2 white double barrel bushings, then put the blue ones closer to the board and the white ones farther. This is easily the best upgrade you can get as it allows for a softer yet more stable feel. The board is quite flexible and gets even more so with time. Overall, its a piece of art and you won't be disappointed with your purchase.
