How It Shreds:

The Arbor Koa Fish longboard is a super fun pintail board that is great for cruising and commuting around campus, the city, or even just down to the corner store for some Hot Cheetos and Takis!  It has a little bit of flex and can accommodate smaller trucks for a more responsive ride. The Arbor Koa Fish is a perfect for beginners who haven’t quite yet decided what type of riding style interests them the most. We personally think that no matter how good you are this board is still really fun. It is hard to beat a classic pintail!

The board comes fully assembled and ready to ride at no extra charge. If you want to assemble the board yourself, we send you all the hardware you need.
If the board is to be used for all-around riding or getting around town, spacers are NOT needed. Spacers sit between the bearings in the wheel and provide additional stability for more advanced riding.
Risers and shock pads, while not required to enjoy your ride, are a great way to give your board more wheel clearance and remove unwanted vibrations from the road.
Used to keep the bolts on your board nice and tight and/or to assemble the board.
Lubricant and cleaning kits are used to keep the bearings in the wheels turning quickly and smoothly; if this is your first board, these upgrades are not necessary. Make sure you love to ride first!

Amazing Board

I got this board last summer (2012 model) and it hasn't dissapointed me. I have 150mm paris trucks on there with 70mm abec 11 flashbacks and bones reds. This little board can carve like nothing I've ever seen and can just zoom down those slopes. For a little downside, it isn't a very wide board which makes sliding a little harder and the grip isn't the roughest either. I also find the 2013 art to be a little... not to my taste. For my personal preference this makes no difference as I enjoy simply carving and cruising. All in all, great job Arbor, this board is great for anything like carving and cruising and for the price you can't go wrong!

I live in one of the flattest parts of saskatchewan. Bought this board for cruising around with my friends and I'm very pleased with it. It came stock with gullwing mission trucks, abec 7 bearings, and 69mm sector 9 wheels for $200 on nordboards. I'm going to put some 852's and in heats on it but that's just my preference. Very stable board, looks good and handles well. Really springs you out of your turns. Only downside is it may be too narrow for people with big feet. Other than that it's a great board. Very fun to ride. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
Good But Not That Great

I got this board from a friend over the summer and although It is an awesome beginner board, its no fun after you learn how to turn and simple firsts like that. The deck is also very narrow. I bought a pair of original trucks and put one on the front with the indys on the back. It is now much more fun than any other board I have ridden. I have ridden dervishes, vanguards, axis, lookout, Original freeride, Bustin sportster, the whole shebang. with the spring truck in the front it cuts like a surfboard. It is seriously the most fun ive had under on a longboard under 30 mph. If you can get a carving truck on the front and a standard kingpin on the back its too much fun.
