Pusher Review

I've ridden these wheels for a couple weeks now on the Eastside DropBoard and right off they seemed fairly heavy and slower than other wheels that I've pushed a lot of miles on. They were nice for really rough sections of pavement but not for most of the way through the city and on bike paths. I also took them downhill at Zoo Bomb for speeds up to 40pmhs with other riders riding other brands of wheels. And I noticable felt slower than the others and had to push on the flat sections to keep up instead of holding my tuck. However they did grip wheel in the corners until I purposely started sliding and they chattered and skipped a ton because of the skinner outer lip. They reminded me of the old 3DM Avilias I used to have that I would shave with a rasp tool to make them have a nice thick (1/4") edge. I did the same with these hoping they would be faster. They weren't faster downhill but a little faster pushing on flat. And they did drift a whole lot better downhill into corners. Thinking about the whole idea behind the wheel, it seems to me they were made for pumping rather than pushing with the soft skinner lip. Ultimately I think they could be harder with a lot less contact patch.
