Well, back from the grave we have Habitat Skateboards, distributed by none other than Tum Yeto out of San Diego, California. Having always had a very artistic and thoughtful approach to skateboarding, Habitat will fit in well under Ed Templeton’s wings of guidance. The entire team took a pay cut to re-establish the brand and we expect to see great things from them. It was hard to get ahold of their first revamped run, but with the few decks we were able to get ahold of I really like what I am seeing. They may be coming back from the dead, but they are keeping up with the same aesthetic appeal and great mellow shapes that Brian Wenning used to slay it on back in his heyday. With Riders like Stefan Janoski and Silas Baxter-Neal I hope and expect to see great things from this classic core skateboard company.
