Best land surf cross trainer

Guys, These trucks are simply the best in their category. I understand some of the criticism some guys sometimes do to these trucks, but before you buy it you must understand the purpose of it. Carver trucks are for simulating surfing on land. Skateboard is a sport that evolved from surf, but it gained it's own personality. Today we are going the reverse way and surfing is trying to emulate skate manouvers like aerials and so on. With Carver trucks you can go back to the original purpose of skateboarding: simulate surfing when you don't have surfing conditions. With Carver trucks you can pump and carve on flats for miles, but also can do skate parks, pools, hills, and almost anything, as long as you understand the purpose of it: simulate surfing (if the sea is flat or too high for your surfing level, if you are far from the beach, the weather is too cold, or if you simply want to exercise some specific muscles, like legs and core muscles wich are realy used when you are pumping around). If you are searching for a tool that will help your surfing to improve, that will give you lots of fun, and a tremendous work out, these trucks are for you.

I bought these about a year ago. After lots of riding on them i kinda just let them sit now. They are fun for the first couple rides but after a while they just become annoying. They become a hassle to ride and you kinda look like a fool pumping them up and down the sidewalk. Don't get me wrong, they are fun, and turn in a totally different way then any other trucks i have ever rode but they feel more like a gimmick then anything else. If your looking for a surfy feel these are for you but as far as a downhill longboarding truck... not so much.

Anyone want to buy my used randals and Indys

Once I got Carvers, the rest are of no use for me. I have Holeys, Randals(180s and 150s), Indys, and Trackers...now they all feel like they don't turn. I am now scheming on how to get several more sets of these for my BE40, JP38 and PS36 Gravitys...
I have them on two boards, a 15"wb fish by carver, and a 19"wb Gravity LB33...with both of these setups (with soft wheels) I skate Arlington VA Skatepark, garages, my micro basement ramp and hit a few hills...no wobbles for me...they carve like a freak, pump effortlessly, JUST MAKE SURE YOU USE THE RISERS MADE FOR THE C7'S OR THEY DON'T WORK RIGHT!!!! I was about to send my first pair back when I discovered the pin attached to the centering mechanism is lower than the base plate and was getting hung up...
The grind well, and are no trouble dropping in with, though I thought they would be...only turn when I ask...being that there is more than 1 adjustment(three really) you may have to toy with them to find your preferred settings. Oh, Carvers wheels are pretty cool too...78a, 65mm center set...

Got these not long ago and have been trying to get in as much time with these new trucks as possible(considering its winter right now). First impression was pretty good on flat ground, real smooth/tight turning. But once put on say...a banked slalom, thats when the issues start. First run i ate it hard when the front truck took a slight bit of a jolt and decided to wack out and make a hard left. Took about a solid day at the bowl before i got used to their style (it was far different than my older randles 150). I'd say this truck is built JUST for the flatground/parking garage/downhill carves, and seconds as a park/bowl truck(although speed wobbles seem to be a common issue above 20mph unless you tighten the hell outta the spring). All around a pretty cool idea, but i think it still needs some more work in the labs. Wait for your buddies to get it to try it and see for yourself.
Lansdowne Bowl, Lansdowne, MD. check the vids on youtube to get an idea of the park that was skated.

Would these fit on a standard arbor pin board?
Dan Loveland Writes - Yes, you just need to watch for wheelbite.
