Fun Freeride Board
I really love mine. I currently have the red edition and it's just perfect. It's very fun to do slides with. The concave is my favorite part about this deck. I love the intense concave depth. In addition, the wheel flares are actually great because they lock my feet in and they reduce wheelbite. I ride mine with 50° Caliber 2s blackout and Volante Checkers/Sector 9 Butterballs/Orangatang 4 Presidents 80a.
I Absolutely love my lunch tray. I've had it for about 4 months now and it is awesome! the concave for some is too intense. for me however, it is perfect. i will be keeping it for a long time. the only thing that it is bad for is pushup slides because of the 1 inch of concave.
DB Luch Tray
Rayne Envy's 64mm
MOB Ultra Course grip
I really like this board, great for everything, the rockers is spot on and the concave is good as well, I like the length and width, and you feel nice and locked in.
Should I get this board or a landyachtz switchblade 38
If you're down with the concave you can't go wrong with this board.I never go fast but first day on this board I was bombing local runs. Feels great for stand is but not a good board to do hands down stuff on other than tech slides. Loving mine although the concave did take some getting used to
Ordered Board on it's way,
Will i get wheelbite W/Cal 50s 10" & RFW 70 mm sector9 wheels?
Great but not to durable
I have had my lunchtray for almost 6 months now i do some pretty heavy freeride and downhill, i ride the shortest wheelbase and its pretty stable even at speeds 30mph+. This board takes like 2 weeks of continuous riding to get used to all of the concave and rocker but it is worth it because it holds you in like a boss. I just have one problem with this board, durability, i crashed this into a wooden post going 10mph and it hit the wheel well. I looked at it and it cracked like 3 plys and thrashed the wheel well. I recommend this board still a good board just poor build quality. If you want something similar you can check out the original Baffle or the Omen barfight
I loved my DB lunch tray when I first ordered it. It's a dream to slide on but downhill with this board sucks it is twitchy. Also the durability of this board isn't that great. Of course all board will chip, chunk and break eventually but my lunch tray's wheel flairs are starting tho delam from flipping and landing on the rails. I only had it for about 3 months and never road in the rain; my 2011 switchblade is still holding up and I ride it in the rain all the time. The DB lunch tray great board for freeride other than my few problems. :)
TOM THE FISH
ive and this board for a few months now and my first thoughts are just wow! I learnt so many new slides on this thing as your feet are us locked in easily with the huge wheel flares! Recently i moved the wheel base further in and now it slides even better!!! This board is also great for downhill, very stable and yet again your feet are locked in nice and tight. It also isn't bad for a bit of freestyle, if you move the wheel base in the you can pop some ollies and do dome great manuals!
BUT! there is one con. if you flip the board on a stack or something like that the top of the wheel flares get pretty badly damaged but its not all bad, it makes the board looks like its been loved!!
it also isn't very good for cruising but you wouldn't use it for that anyway.
Ride happy!! And get yourself one of these bad boys!!
This is the perfect all around board for anything from cruising/carving to fast downhill and big toesides when free riding! Slap on some vicious and your gonna have the best time ever
Awesome! Great for sliding and Fast freeride
So much fun to slide on this!
The Lunch Tray
Wow, what an amazing board the concave is so sweet it makes love to your feet. Don't think just buy it!
I have taken this board out a few times for fun and man i can say the concave and gas pedals make this board perfect for free rideing.
fantastic, no bite
i absolutely LOVE this board. i love the intense concave and the flares really lock you feet in too. on the shortest wheelbase with 70mm or smaller wheels, both kicks are ollie and kickflipable. even though its a topmount, you wont have to worry one bit about bite. i've even ridden 85mm wheels and only had small problems with bite. only downside is that it gets pretty sketchy from 45+ km/h
Best Board I've purchased
I've been riding this board for about a month now everyday. As soon as I tried it out I loved it! I learnt 360's on the first day and I had been trying them for weeks! My set up is bear 852's, redz bearings and 70mm butter balls! I have gotten some wheel bite but not bad concidering it is a top mount longboard! If you are looking to get this board do it! you will not regret it!! :D
This board is amazing for pretty much about everything. It can do downhill, fantastic freeride, surprisingly some decent carving, and has a little kicktail for some quick move ability. With the shortest wheelbase, I was able to learn so many new tricks. But be aware with the longest wheelbase which provides some wheelbight on 70mm wheels and above with extremely loose trucks. But don't be afraid, the wheel wells are much bigger compared to board such as the wolfshark. All round this board is not for EXTREME downhill but is amazing for tech and fast freeride. Get. This. Board.
I have had this board for about a week. I am riding it with Bear 852's and 717 These. overall i love this board it fits my need for what i do. The board is great for freeride. I haven't done much downhill, but the board get twitchy at 45+mph at its shortest wheelbase option but if you move your trucks out then its less twitchy. If you are not sure whether to get this board or not, Get it its got a smaller price tag and is perfect for standies. get it what are you waiting for.....
Its all around a pretty awesome board. Really solid at pretty much everything. I'm a pretty inexperienced rider and I had no problem kicking out small standies.
a little awkward
its really good for sliding but its kinda awkward for cruising but if your looking for a sliding and downhill board recomend this board
Fun for freeride, Awkward for general use
This deck has awesome curves! the flares give you a great area to push off of for long, confidence inspiring slides. They allow you to carve extremely deep and still feel locked in and stable. This board is great for freeride! However, the shape is definitely weird. It feels strange to push on and the shape feels kind of like it combines the worst of a whole bunch of elements. There is no real kick tail, yet there is wasted overhanging area (on the largest wheelbase it is extremely challenging to do a manual let alone an ollie. The tails protrude a decently long area past the trucks, and yet provide no functional value. If redrilled it can be usable to increase wheelbase, but the routered cutouts (which are nice by the way) don't extend all the way back. the flares make the board somewhat twitchy and also the griptape gets scraped off on them almost immediately if the board flips. The board is also quite heavy and feels like it has a lot of unecessary wood. All in all it's fun for freeride but not great for general purpose. Graphics look nice and have held up well, i've gotten many compliments on the appearance
billy bob joe
Should i get this or the bustin ratmobile. im 5'6".
Flares are amazing
Wheel flares feel great and never get wheel bite. Tails work well even though the kick is subtle I was surprised how easy ollies were on the shortest wheel base. I've ridden this thing hard and in the rain a bunch of times it's still in great shape. Would recommend this board to anyone looking for a freeride / DH / Do it all board.
Great, but not all it claims to be.
Don't get me wrong, I love my lunch Tray, but it is not all it claims to be. If you do only freeride, i would recommend this for you. If you do Freeride and light downhill (25-40) i would recommend this for you. But if you are looking for a true downhill board, this is not for you. The shorter wheelbase and crazy concave makes for one twitchy ride. I was dissapointed to see how twitchy it was at speeds 45mph and up. All in all, get it if you will be doing mostly freeride because thats what it's the best at.
I wasn't sure if I should get this board at first but I got it and it is amazing. It also has great concave and great wheel flares if you're unsure whether or not to get this board get it
this is the easiest board to slide on! so light and the concave keeps your feet locked in. if your iffy about getting it, i say just go for it.
BEST BOARD IVE RIDDEN
i love this board its so amazing its got intense foot pockets and concave, this board also has fat wheel wells which i love and use for gas pedals and footing for pe-drifts and slides. all in all i would say if you want a baddass freeride/downhill board here it is i mean its ubber stiff and stable at speed ive done 50mph on it and its a beast and handles the gnar i shred perfectly:). i put 44 calibers and a set of 70mm "these" wheels on it and its the best freeride setup in my opinion. but put some rad advantage 74mm wheels on it and it makes a legit downhill setup. hands down my favorite board. BUY THIS BOARD NOW!!! YEAH YOU THINKING ABOUT BUYING THIS AND READING THIS REVIEW.
Pretty legit. When put on the smallest wheel base your feet are directly over the trucks making freeride a dream! DH is okay on it too. The wheel wells help you know exactly where your feet are. The wheel wells are pretty steep though. If your used to a w or a mild concave they will feel odd. The arch of your foot won't touch the board because all your weight will be on your toes and heels on the wheel wells. It only takes a bit of getting used too. Over all, great board, especially for freeride!
I am stumped...should I get the DB LUNCHTRAY.......or the RAYNE VANDAL?
the guy below me is stoopid
No wheelbite w/ caliber 50's
Love the flares.
Raheed I am better than you
Hey dan do you know if this board would get wheel bite with caliber 44s and 72mm abec 11 freerides?
