It's a twin-tip drop-through for freeride/freestyle downhill, and soft wheel sliding.  It is stiff, but with the routered channels, it has a touch of torsional flex to enhance and make sliding more forgiving and predictable without sacrificing the stiff feel of the deck.  It allows the rider to control the truck more independently of each other than usual, and also helps distribute load more evenly between all 4 wheels with tighter trucks. Grabbing rail for drifts, and early grabs is no problem on this thing, even with bulky slide gloves.

There is a deep elliptical concave that is deeper near the trucks. It's on one plane, no rocker, no chamber. Hand picked Great Lakes region hard rock maple. No, maple is not all the same, and we have the best of the best. We payed close attention to the details. There is maximum possible real estate near the trucks without wheelbite, and features a deep wheel well that fits snug with large wheels.

Please note that this deck was primarily designed to work with Indy 215's! Brian at Earthwing recommends this truck above all others for freeriding on this board.

sicknesssss Richard (New Zealand) 4/14/2011 12:39 AM You could go on to write a whole essay about this board, but really, the long answer and short answer are going to lead to the exact same conclusion, this board is just amazing! Obviously i chose the 9ply purp stain, they say 8ply is like rock and 9ply even harder, i weigh a good 80kg and find a slight amount of flex in the board, just ever so slight, but im loving it like that. Mean to cruise, DH, freestyle, whatever, great all round board. Definatly run indy's on this bad boy, save you from wheel bite, im also running Abec 11 81a Flashys and it goes like a dream. Board can look rather intimidating when you first get it, just the 10" width makes it look massive as, but its awesome, huge amount of room for tucking. Grabbings cool cuz there's slight grooves cut into the bottom. Got Vicious Griptape put on mine, def lives up to its name, been ripping a lil of the skin on my thumb up, nothing major but think i might start wear a glove on my carrying hand when i dont intend on going sliding. Recommend this board to absolutly anyone, just amazing, real pleased. A++++ Oh and btw, looks like i took the long answer hahaa.
