Featuring a rare drop-thru design with a useful kick tail made to maneuver through the harsh urban terrain.  This original idea was formed by Eastside creator Robin McGuirk as the ultimate commuter and cross-town race board.  He has proven its reliability to conquer a mixed style of downhill and pushing with the added ability to lift up the front wheels over cracks and off curbs with his many top finishes at various push races around the country.

This latest version is made from a blend of maple, birch, carbon fiber, and a uniquely less brittle resin adhesive.  With this revamped construction, it has the same specs, stiffness, concave, and thickness as the previous all maple version.  Now it is slightly lighter and even more durable with a new white graphic to mark its new makeup.   As one of the classic Eastside models first released in 2006, it has made its way to the top as one of the most unique boards available today. 

Recommended wheels up to 76mm with no wheelbite.

Sweet board Ethan (Portland Oregon) 1/9/2012 10:36 PM I personally love any board with a tail and this tail is huge and perfect I can go off curbs and do manuals and Ollie's and there is no sighn of stress with the drop through. I love this board for pushing around town since it can take anything! I can go from flat to hills to big turns and right of a curb it's perfect for an everything board and can take big wheels I run gum balls on mine and I never get bite even being heavier

Awesome longboard! Peter (Portland, OR) 12/19/2011 5:04 AM This is only my second longboard -- the first being the Tabor also by Eastside Longboards -- but I tried many boards before buying a Carbon DropKick and THIS IS THE BEST BOARD I'VE EVER RIDEN! By far! It's fast, stable and fun, whether going straight downhill, low around turns or sliding around on wet pavement. I still use my Tabor for short commutes, but only because I want to protect my DropKick from daily abuse. I highly recommend this board! It's awesome!!

Fav go to board! Edwin R (South Florida) 12/13/2011 9:03 AM Was gonna get a bustin maestro for commuting and hitting up garages here but one of my buds had an older DropKick that I got to try first. And was way stoked I did, just got this new carbon version a few weeks ago. It has a bit of flex for my 195, but not too much, feels very strong and a lighter than my friends older non-carbon dropkick. Both boards are good for pushing being drop-thrus. The biggest selling point for me was that this one handles better going fast in garages than the maestro which tends to wobble out for me at speed (think its the wedging in the back). Plus it has better concave and more foot space, love the bigger tail too for getting off curbs!
