Eastside Tabor Longboard Skateboard Deck

Quick Overview

Eastside Longboard’s first classic model that launched the brand in 2004. Named after a dormant volcano and Portland's most famous longboard run, Mt. Tabor, the Eastside Tabor was originally made for urban transportation for the everyday commuter. It has been upgraded to also attack the various terrains of ditches, banks, and skate parks. It features a new mold with more concave with a wider tail, and more nose kick to create a more responsive feel at speed. It’s constructed with 7 plies of extra thick longboard-grade maple veneer and non-toxic waterproof glue. You'll be ready to throw down, pick up, and ride in between the chaos and traffic. The graphic shows the view of Downtown Portland from the lower Eastside.
Grip tape is applied to the top of the deck to provide the rider traction.
Used to keep the bolts on your board nice and tight and/or to assemble the board.
Lubricant and cleaning kits are used to keep the bearings in the wheels turning quickly and smoothly; if this is your first board, these upgrades are not necessary. Make sure you love to ride first!

CUSTOMER REVIEWS
My favorite all around board.
This board is sick! I used to look for decks that could do it all but would always end up bringing two or more decks. This 36" deck is legit for any style of riding. I use it when I go freeriding, cruising around, techsliding, bowl riding and freestyling. Ive had it for almost a year and hasnt showed any sign of breakage even for it being a 7 ply board. It also is up for a great price!
Currently riding this with some prototype trucks and volante checkers.
amazing board
I have had this board for about 6 months and it is by far one of my favorite decks. I Have done some light bombing on it, and it can handle up to 38-40mph no problem. This is my all around shredding board and I would recommend any who wants a boss board with a kicktail should get this.
New one feels like big skateboard
Got one from Eastside with no handle, rips hard with no flex for big board under my 190lbs. This is perfect size for me bowl riding and grinding curbs, gettin' round, an all around fit so stoked! Only in Portland do they make this deck! Got it with Indy169's and flashbacks, killer combo
New one kicks!
Seen this board a while back with the handle, seemed cool as a go to crusier. Then seen this newer version up close by their team riders shredding the ditches of ABQ. I got to try one and was hooked, as a street skater it was an easier transistion into longboarding than a big old 40" beast. With a wheelbase less than 20" it was still easy to ollie and pump the transition of the ditches. I ride it everyday now, so solid and durable with great concave and a nice fat tail to pop off stuff.
New version best All-around deck!
The updated mold has more concave feeling more like a regular skateboard but longer for the stability of a longboard. The bigger and better tail and nose is great for popping over cracks and off curbs and if you can ollie makes it easier to use at speed. Next thing I like is running 70mm wheels on Randal 150s without a risor pad as the wheel-wells don't let you get any bite. Also like running Indy style trucks on it too using the inner wheelbase to match the wheel-wells. If you had to chose one board and like skating street, the Tabor will be your go-to board for fun sliding, grinding, and getting somewhere in a hurry and can still handle speed like a longboard.
AWESOME BOARD!
Its my favorite go to board. I use it for every thing. Pushing, freeride, downhill, and even dancing. It has a nice comfy concave it is just enough not to slip off but nice for pushing far also. Ive used it for dh at switchbacks and mt tabor. I havent gotting wobbles cause the board because of myself. Its a nice 7 thicker plys of wood. I have pushing about 8 miles all toghter with all the pushes. Its also fun for freeride. I was out today doing colemans backside 180s, and shutdown slides. Im 11 years old and this is a perfect board for me not to small with a awesome concave and stiffness. This my go to board. The wheel wells are awesome I have no bite with 160mm gullwing chargers on a fifty degree plate and 69mm raceforms but I could go up to 70mm You can run 150-180mm trucks. Its also very durable. Im so so so glad I bought this board
