WHO IS DADDIES BOARD SHOP?
So, you want to know who’s behind the name Daddies Board Shop and what we do with all the millions of dollars we make? Well, we are a family owned business that is headed up by 3 key people: Melanie Loveland (Mom), Dan Loveland (Son) and daughter-in-law Sarah Loveland (aka: The Anchor). Other characters you may encounter include Connor (Order Manager), Jesse (Packing & Shipping), Jim, Trevor, Paul and Spencer. Since November 10th, 1995, we have grown our little neighborhood skateboard shop into a world leader in the longboard and snowboard industry. How did we do that? Easy. Starting with world domination of certain brands, domain squatting and mostly you, our customers. We were the first ones to bring longboarding to the forefront in Oregon (yes! what a claim!) and continue to strive to make your life easier by offering you the best darn longboards and snowboards available (completely true). If you are happy, then we are happy. That’s what Daddies Board Shop is all about.

WHY ARE YOU NOT OPEN ON THE WEEKENDS?
We are a family owned and operated store. Keyword here is “operated” meaning that 99.9% of the time there is a Loveland family member at the shop. Our retail store was open on the weekend for the past 14 years. When we opened Daddies in 1995 we were open 7 days a week for almost 3 years when we finally started closing on Mondays so we could actually snowboard! Over the past few years our business has really changed. As the online portion grew we found that it was impossible to take Mondays off due to shipping and we gradually slipped into working 6-7 days per week year round. We realized that this family owned shop was all shop and no family and we had to make a change. We struggled with this decision because we were so tied to the way we have done business for over a decade. Ultimately in January of 2010 we had to look at the greatest demand and that was to ship orders and provide excellent customer service Monday through Friday. So that is why we are not open on the weekends anymore.

HOW DO I GET FREE SHIPPING?
Your order must be over $25.00 and you must pick FREE SHIPPING. If you pick UPS GROUND, you will be charged the appropriate shipping fee.
Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, International Orders are Excluded from Free Shipping.
Smaller items (under approx 2lbs.) are shipped USPS Mail - Transit times usually take 2-5 days for delivery. Larger items such as longboard skateboards and snowboards are shipped UPS GROUND with a 3-7 Business Days transit time.
UPS DOES NOT COUNT SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AS TRANSIT DAYS. Please keep this in mind if you have an urgent delivery date. We take no responsibility for time in transit when FREE SHIPPING is picked by the customer.

We ship very fast Monday - Friday.
USPS Priority Mail International transit times are 7-14 business days. (Packages can get stuck in customs for over 30 days but they are not lost and will be delivered when released.)

HOW DO I PLACE AN INTERNATIONAL ORDER?
Please place your order online by adding items to your card and clicking “Checkout Now”. On the 1st step you will select your country from the drop down menu (US & Canada at the top) and input your shipping address. The 2nd step will provide UPS and US Postal Service shipping options. The 3rd and final step will ask for payment and any comments you would like to add to your order.
WE PREFER PAYPAL PAYMENT ON ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS! This will avoid your order being canceled or delayed.

WHAT ARE MY IMPORT FEES & TAXES?
International orders may be subject to import fees, customs duties, taxes and brokerage fees. These fees are not included in the price and shipping costs charged by Daddies Board Shop. In some countries these taxes can be substantial so we strongly recommend that you contact your local customs office for the current tax rate % before placing an order.

AUSTRALIA LIMITS PACKAGE LENGTH!
For AUSTRALIA, longboards/snowboards have to be 42” and under to ship USPS PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL MAIL. If the package is longer than 42”, it must ship via UPS Worldwide Expedited. This includes all snowboards OVER 154cm and longboards OVER 42”.

INTERNATIONAL SNOWBOARD SHIPPING
We can ship a snowboard via USPS PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL mail if the snowboard is 154cm and UNDER. The box cannot be longer than 60”. If the snowboard is 155cm and up, it MUST ship UPS Worldwide Expedited or with our preferred MyUS.com Freight Forwarding.

INTERNATIONAL REFUSED PACKAGES OR ATTEMPTED DELIVERY
If you choose to abandon your package, you will not be issued a refund. If the carrier attempts to deliver your package and you are not present to take possession of the package, it is your responsibility to find out who the carrier is and where the package is. We have no control over customs or carriers in your country. If a delivery attempt has been made, this fulfills our obligation for delivery and you will not be refunded for any package that was not delivered because you were not present at the time.

US DOLLARS! All prices on the Daddies site are in US Dollars. The prices and totals are not converted into Canadian Dollars or other currencies. You must check the current exchange rate for your currency and any fees charged by your credit card for International transactions.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
Orders shipped with USPS Priority Mail International can be tracked at www.usps.com using the tracking number provided in your order shipment confirmation. It will usually begin with a "CJ" and end with "US". This will provide information on the progress that your package has made as well as the customs status when it is in your country. The delivery of the package will be made by the postal service or carrier of your country.
Orders shipped with UPS will be provided with a standard UPS tracking number to track progress of the package. www.ups.com

WHAT ITEMS CANNOT BE SHIPPED OUTSIDE THE USA?
There are a few companies that, due to our dealer agreements, cannot be shipped outside the USA. These items are typically carried by a local retailer in your country and they want you to buy it from them.

WHAT IS A BILLING ADDRESS?
The BILLING ADDRESS is the address to which your credit card bill is mailed to. We need this to be accurate, even if you are shipping to a different location. If you do not use the correct billing address on your order we will need to speak with you BEFORE your order can be shipped. Use the correct billing address if you want your order to ship quickly!

SHIPPING TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS
Having your order shipped to an address other than your BILLING ADDRESS can delay the processing of your order. For reasons of security, we do not automatically ship out orders to addresses that are not listed on your credit card account. Expect a call or email if you enter separate addresses for BILLING and SHIPPING. Respond quickly or your order can be delayed. Credit card fraud sucks but we have to be careful.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?
We process orders FAST! Most of the time we will get your order out the same business day you place them. Daddies ships with UPS and the US Postal Service Monday-Friday (except the big holidays).
USPS Priority Mail takes approximately 2-3 business days but is not a guaranteed service and can take longer. Plus there is no actual tracking number.
UPS Ground takes between 1-7 days depending on where you live but is not a guaranteed service and can take longer. Click Shipping Policy in the top right-hand corner for more information on UPS Ground Transit Days for your region of the USA.

DO I HAVE TO PAY SALE TAX?
Oregon is one of those last states without a sales tax so we do not charge any tax regardless of where you live. For international orders, some countries charge import duties. However, those charges are not initiated or collected by Daddies Board Shop.

IS EVERYTHING INSTOCK?
We try REALLY hard to keep an accurate inventory for your shopping pleasure but sometime things sell out before we have a chance to update our site. If this happens to your order, you will be notified right away (usually the same or next day), and we will have some suggestions on the closest thing available. Items that are SOLD OUT or PRE-BOOK (for shipping on an estimated date) will be marked in the product title so you know the status. When the items arrive instock we will ship your order out that same day so there is no delay on our end. You will get a shipment confirmation with a tracking number that let's you know the wait is over.

DOES DADDIES PRICE MATCH?
Daddies will match prices at their own discretion. We price match when it is the exact size, color and make of an item. The item must be in stock and directly available and include the same free shipping Daddies offers. We do not match prices that do not include free shipping so figure that into the price you are asking us to match. Please call us and provide the exact URL of the item you would like us to price match and we will check it out and make you the best deal we can!

WHERE DO I FIND DADDIES GIFT CERTIFICATES?
We do sell gift cards in our retail store for any amount but we no longer offer online gift codes due to a high level of credit card fraud. We recommend that you purchase a pre-paid Visa or MasterCards at your local grocery store and give that as a gift in place of a Daddies Gift Certificate. RETURNS, EXCHANGES & WARRANTY FAQ
HOW DO I RETURN OR EXCHANGE ITEMS?
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to accept a return for a refund or exchange. You can return your purchase for up to 30 days from the purchase date. Products must be in the new condition you received them in and in the original box and/or packaging. See the information above for complete instructions on returning or exchanging items.

WHEN WILL MY REFUND BE PROCESSED?
Refunds from a returned product are typically issued the same day that the item arrives in our store. It can take up to 7 days for your bank to apply the credit but rest assured we processed the refund immediately.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY?
Products are warranted by the manufacturers against manufacturing defects. This does not include wear and tear damage and they are very smart so don’t try to slip one over on them. Warranties also do not cover impact damage. Just like a car, any crash damage is not covered by the manufacturer warranty. If you believe you have a defective product report it immediately. Worn out products, even if they appear to be defective are rarely approved for replacement.

TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM:
Call us to discuss the defect and be prepared to email us digital photos of the problem so we can get approval for the replacement from the manufacturer. Give us a couple days to get the approval and we will arrange for the replacement product to be sent out to you.
