I have the 74a red Burners on a campus cruiser. I haven't slid them, so I won't comment on slide-ability. I think these are great wheels for cruising around. The fat, square lips provide good rebound for tight carving. The soft duro is really comfortable for rough terrain, which helps because it's a small wheel. They are noticeably more comfortable than 78a duro (I've ridden EW floaters, which are larger as well). The only thing I don't like is that they get really dirty, being such a soft wheel. But this is only a minor issue, and I would buy these wheels again.

As the reviewer before has said, not a slide wheel, you can do it, it just isnt recomended. Aside from that, best wheel I have ridden, very fast and grippy, also incredibly smooth. I have em on a small giant slolom type board and couldnt be happier. Very good quality especially for the price

These wheels grip amazingly. I have the black 81a and i couldn't be happier. Make no mistake though if you want sliding wheels look elsewhere. These can be slid but its not that easy, these wheels really are for slalom
