1/2" Half Inch Soft Angled Skateboard Risers Choose your riser pad size according to your wheel size and truck height. For example if you have a pool setup with 64mm wheels you will need a 1/4 inch riser. If you are using a street board with 58mm wheels use a 1/8 riser. If you are using Independent Trucks on your longboard you will need 1/2 inch risers. If you want to increase the turnability of your Independent Truck choose an angled 1/2 inch riser pad. My dad got me a pair of these for christmas not really knowing what he was getting. I was wondering if the greater the angle of the trucks the faster or slower turning you get... Thanks for your time. - - - - - - -Dan Loveland Writes - - - - Ander, if you have the risers setup opposing with the 1/2" inch height of the riser pointing to the cener of the deck - so the lowest height of the riser is pointing to the tip and tail of the board - This will increase your turning radius of your trucks. To decrease your turning radius simply setup the risers opposite to this. Hope this helps you out.
