Great Bushings!

I picked up a set of the 98a bushings for my RII's. The RII's are already stable with the stock 91a bushings but with these on... oh man! I might actually have to order a softer set so I can carve a little easier. Definitely worth the experiment. I use them on my freeride setup with no issues but as expected, you really have to dig into your carves with these (98a). Great for downhill though!

Feel really tight at first, after breaking them in they feel alot better and are more turny.

A word on doh-dohs

For those of you who have ridden actually turny trucks, i.e. paris, revenge, etc. Doh doh's lowest hardness is in the upper 80's, this will not work for the turny feel that can be achieved with the use of khiro's because they are too short to fit properly, so although one may think they work, they are actually damaging your trucks.

Honestly, these are what the grizzlies come with, and the paris are pretty close too. They are necessary for using those Randals for interesting riding. Be WARNED Randals Cannot accept regular bushings from skate shops (I.E. Doh-dohs) and perform in any intelligent manner.

I bought these bushings recently in orange(80a,) thanks Daddies Board Shop, and they awesome. The old stock randall 2 bushings suck compared to these bad boys. They carve soo nicely and the rebound is incredible. I definatly recommend them!

Wrong Fit?

I have 2 pairs of Randal 180's and I've gotten this kit both times, but it seems that they don't fit as well as simply using Khiro barrel bushings with a flat bottom washer and a cup washer on the top bushing (the washer that comes with the stock Randals). This seems to seat the bushings much more solidly and provide a better carve. It seems like no matter how hard I try to tighten my Randal's with these insert combo bushings, they don't sit very well.

I just bought my dervish with the Randal 180mm trucks, however I am thinking on getting this bushing kit. Suggestions? Dan? Dan Loveland Writes - I use the orange khiro bushings in my Randals and Paris trucks. I like really really loose trucks.

ive got some blue doh dohs on mine i just had to replace the washers. turn quite nicely and are pretty stable.

These are very nice bushings, they carve super smooth and have a nice rebound. Only bad thing is the metal insert that goes down half the length of the cone bushing tends to split the inside of the bushing. But still a good set.

This makes your Randals look and feel better than new. It may take a little time and effort to break the new bushings in but otherwise its worth it.

Which Khiro's would be closest to the stock white Charger bushings? Sarah Writes: I asked around and those are closest to the Red 90a.
