No repairs were necessary for our best-selling Ripper longboard skateboard deck, but we did slap on a sweet graphic depicting the timeless beauty of a red-tailed hawk. Like the Ripper longboard skateboard, the Hawk represents the apex of longboard design with a tried-and-true pintail shape, moderate concave, and a slight kick tail. Throw on a set of Randal Flashback trucks and Abec 11 wheels and you’ve got a high-performance set-up built for speed. And now with the help of (Santa Cruz) artist Kevin Walsh, the skateboard shape truly is picture perfect.
