This board is made in a fiberglass and bamboo construction for a very light and durable ride. Coming in two different sizes, the Drop Carve 37 is the shorter of the two for a more nimble and agile ride.

Landyachtz Drop Carve 37 Longboard Skateboard Complete - 2015

Quick Overview

The Landyachtz Drop Carve is a freestyle board that shows the true versatility you can get out of a longboard. The symmetrical shape makes this board an amazing freeride setup while also being great for all of your freestyling as well. Whether you're doing standup slides or slide shuvs, the Landyachtz Drop Carve can be ridden any which way with ease. And when you pop out your tiger claws and pop tricks, the board can be switched around without an issue. Being made of the bamboo core and fiberglass layers, this board is flexy while being snappy and stable. Letting you have a forgiving and soft ride without losing any responsiveness or stability. The shorter Drop Carve coming in at 37 inches makes this board perfect for giving you an extra nimble ride as well as extra responsiveness around corner.

The board comes fully assembled and ready to ride at no extra charge. If you want to assemble the board yourself, we send you all the hardware you need.
If the board is to be used for all-around riding or getting around town, spacers are NOT needed. Spacers sit between the bearings in the wheel and provide additional stability for more advanced riding.
Drop Thru shock pads, while not required to enjoy your ride, are a great way to remove unwanted vibrations from the road.
Used to keep the bolts on your board nice and tight and/or to assemble the board.
Lubricant and cleaning kits are used to keep the bearings in the wheels turning quickly and smoothly; if this is your first board, these upgrades are not necessary. Make sure you love to ride first!
drop carve 37
I got this board a week ago and have been riding it nonstop. The only flaw with this deck is the grip tape: it is not as grippy as I would like. I have a friend who is a big guy and this deck is a bit too short and flexy for him. Overall I think this is a great deck for the price, I feel comfortable and like I can do anything on this board.
great board
It is a great board for freestyle and freeriding but the fiberglass chips easily and even at 100 pounds I still managed to crack it all the way through.
my setup: these wheels 727 75mm 78a, bear grizzlys. what do u guys think?

its pretty good
Ive had this board for some weeks now and it rocks. Im running bear trucks and volante serratas.
get this board
The drop carve is probably the best board landyachtz makes. I'm 5'4 and 100 pounds and it is the perfect size for freestyle and freeriding. The W concave in the front and back of the platform locks you in during long slides and when cornering. The kick tails have a lot of pop for ollies and shuvits. I've had mine since 2012 and there's minimal wear and tear. But you need to wear slide gloves while riding it because when it lands upside down the fiberglass top sheet tends to get chipped up. It does flex a lot more after more than two years of use but it is still going on strong. I recommend it to anyone who wants an awesome all around longboard. You should get bear trucks to go with it and some abec11 flashbacks.
Very lightweight be carefull!
I got the 37 about a week ago, I'm 5,9 148. It was a very nice board sick slides amazing manual. Despised I was going to try it on curbs and sidewalks. Sidewalk was only 6 inches tall and the tall snapped right in front of the truck first time. I think this board is to lightweight very disappointed
This will be my first longboard I'm 5.2 and 115lbs 13 years old is it right for me?
Want it
Everyone says this board is amazing but I'm short on $$$,b-days in a month hope I get it
Want it!!!
From all the reviews and just researching it I can obviously see its a great board,I only have 120$ right now but b-days in a month so I can hope, anyway, can't wait to try it out, keep ruin and have fun!
A Dream Come True
This was the first board that I actually picked out for myself, my goal was to put together a versatile cruiser. This board is everything I wanted it to be. This board has just the right amount of flex, making pumping from a standstill easier than ever without making me feel like I'm about to bounce off the board every time I hit a crack. My feet are nice and comfortable on the platform, and the concave is subtle but present enough for me to watch my foot orientation without looking down. The icing on the cake is that I'm a lighter rider, just 5'4 and 90 pounds, so almost every board I've ridden before now has felt at least a little over sized. This thing feels tiny and wafer thin in comparison, with my complete weighing less than 10 pounds, making it exactly the board I want to have when I need to hop off and go on foot.

I set mine up with gravity burners 77a wheels, which is softer than you would want for sliding but has served me as a good choice on the cruising front, bones super red bearings, the stock bear 852 trucks, and I IMMEDIATELY replaced the stock bushing with an extra set of venom shr 83a super carvers.

Overall, this is an extremely versatile board. I probably wouldn't try taking it too fast, but if you want to be able to switch between freeriding, freestyling, and cruising on one deck I couldn't give any board higher praise.
Great board!!!!
Just received the board with Caliber Trucks and dano's wheels.
The board is super light in itself (even if caliber trucks make it a lot heavier)
Maybe not as good as the tan tien of my friend (the concave seems better to me) but I really love it!
Loving this board.
The fiberglass plys love to splinter but other than that this is a great board. It's a bit on the flexy side but that's to be expected with a mostly bamboo board. The ride is very smooth and I would recommend this to anyone.

good (IF you're light)
First, I just want to say that Landyachtz really does stand behind what they make and made sure I was taken care of every step of the way. I just had to use the warranty on this board, as it cracked in 6 places after only 2 months of mild riding. The reason for this? It is meant for lighter people. I weigh 200lbs, however was looking for a nimble ride, so picked this. The Landyachtz rep I talked to (very very helpful guy) said the 39" version IS thicker! If you are heavier than maybe 150lbs, get the longer one; you'll be glad you did.
Sweet Ayyy Board
This board is so sick. I literally waited 4 months till I was able to finally buy it, but it was well worth the wait. If you're worried about being too heavy you shouldn't be, I'm 5'9 205 and it rides like a dream. The board is super light, and the kicktails make for easier manuals. I have it setup with Paris 180 V2's, bones super reds, loaded shock pads, and 78a RAD release wheels. It's a great commuter, and my new favorite board!
Perfect setup
Ok if u want the best cheap setup on this board here it is get orangatang fat free 86a the yellow ones and get blood orange bearings so u dont need to buy bearingspacers and keep the trucks it will come out to be i think 222.90 its pretty cheap try it
How much can this hold im up at 16 and plan on getting up to 190 maybe...making gains...but will this hold my weight i know theres the 40'' drop carve but i want a smaller board so any reviews about how much it can hold that be cool
very lightweight
This is a fantastic board. I usually use the drop carve for cruising around due to its snappy flex and is very easy to push because it is drop-through board. The board is also very light and I have used it for some freestyle although after being flipped the fiberglass is cracked and splintered on the corners of the board. KIcktails are fabulous and the concave is comfortable. The sliding abilities of this board are not bad either but I do not recommend any fast freeride or downhill on the drop carve due to its flex. Graphic gets chipped pretty easily but that doesn't matter so much. Overall great board for crusing, carving, freestyle, or sliding.
This board is amazing! Loving everything about it, slides are easier than ever and despite what people say taking a hill is still enjoyable. Only negative is that the shoulders of the board get scratched up easily and fibreglass splinters seem to be a problem but nothing some slide gloves can't solve!! I'm running 50 calibre trucks (red rum) and some stimulus 80a's. I'd recommend this board to anyone, beginners or experts this is just a overall great board and I hope the 2013 model is out soon.
I want it sooooooooo bad
Everyone is saying its a great board.............want one!!!!!
Great carves, sweet slides.
Running Bear 852's, and Durian 86a. This board is a dream.
my set up
I have Gullwing 40 degree stalkers with the stock bushings, which are great, but i suggest not getting new bushings because the stalkers already turn incredibly good but maintain stability. I also have orangatang stimulis 83a wheels with abec 9 bearings or on daddies they have MOC 9 bearings which are the same thing. they work very well.
this board is great. I dont want to exagerate, but this board is light under your feet, it's got nice kicktails for various freestyle tricks, great concave, and the freeride is amazing! I am fairly new at the sport and I have gotten the push-up slide, a coleman 180, and I have almost gotten my stand-up 180 all with this board. My only advice is to really think about how short and narrow it is coming from like a 40 inch with a 10 inch width, but its great once you get used to it.
Phenomenal board!
I mainly use this board just to cruise around on, and even for just that it is great. Its got a nice comfy flex, very comfortable concave, and it has no camber so it is nice and low to the ground for easy pushing. Carving on this board is comparable to riding a golden pegasus through the clouds. It definitely lives up to the "carve" part of its name. With Bear trucks it has a great turning radius, and you always feel secure and comfortable when really digging into those hard carves. I occasionally do freestyle on this board, and the kicks are wonderfully large and make any trick easier. Even little things like going off a curb or manualing down a street are greatly simplified. One flaw is that the fiberglass on the shoulders gets really flaky after the board has gone through some damage, so any time you grab the shoulders, your hand gets loaded up with fiberglass splinters. This is a minor flaw, and I have been able to look past it because the rest of this board is completely amazing.
excellent board
The new drop carve is an incredible fun and versatile ride; it can do it all, from freestyle to free ride. The flex is snappy and concave effective (the aggressive tub and very slight w give great feel and lock feet in well). 36" platform has ample room and is extremely maneuverable and light. The tails are absolutely sublime. They make scooping up the board for grab tricks or popping into shuvits extremely pleasant. I highly recommend Bear or Randall trucks for this board as they are great for a wide variety of riding styles and are very durable. I ride an 85a venom barrel bushing board side with no bottom washer and the stock Bear bushing road side. This provides awesome turning ability without sacrificing stability and works well for pumping as well. Similar set up works beautifully with the Randalls.
This board is an outstanding board, i like it better then my Apex,it's a lot more durable and the craftsmanship is way better to, when I ride my apex it gets digs an scratches way to easy, but the Drop carve 37 it's like a little tank it hold up so nice run it into a curb. . . . Nothing. It's got a really responsive snappy flex to it an is great for freeride, an can handle about any hill I through at it I've bombed some of the steepest hills in Florida and it does just fine, slides amazing to. This board is just an all around fantastic board. If your wondering my setup, I have bear grizzly 852's with 83a purp. Orangatang Stims,an bones super reds. Over all I love this board and will probably get its bigger brother in the future
Is the wheelbase on this board too small for someone 5-4 and 100 pounds?
Great sliding
if u get good trucks and wheels this board is adream
