I have mine set up with Bear 852's, Bones reds, Fireball Beasts, and stock bushings. The 852s are just perfect for this board, they carve great and feel stable at speed. I found the stock bushings to fit my riding style so far. I recommend getting 70mm wheels instead of 76mm for this board in order to allow super loose trucks and no wheel bite; i am now running on 73mm race forms 82a and they feel crazy fast and almost no wheel bite with loose trucks. This board has aggressive concave that is just beautiful, my wife who's super new to longboarding loves the stability of the drop speed. I highly recommend this board. BTW, the graphic looks sick and we both love it. I am not giving it 5 stars simply because it could be a little lighter (even though i like the stiffness, it feels durable) and have slightly bigger wheel wells.

I love the drop speed, it is amazing to ride. You can ride it wherever u want, perfect for anyone ! I highly recomend it to anybody that has a bit of skill, it can be crazy going down steep hills ! (in a good way) ;)

This board is amazing. I used to own an arbor axis bamboo which was a good board but it got run over. This gave me time to reflect on the pros and cons of the axis. Pros, length just right, very little flex, symmetrical; no front or back. Cons,the "u" concave was a little too subtle,rounded, almost hourglass like sides, dirt stands out on the bamboo, cracks were forming on the bamboo layer, could be a little stiffer. The landyachtz drop speed has all of the pros as well as all the cons FIXED! I highly recommend this board to anyone despite their skill level.

First, the so called loaded drop through deck is called a dervish, which I have, is a flexy board. The trucks don't really make the board lower than another. This board is awesome, there isn't any design problem with it, so it is a 5 star board.

...(P.S. to previous review) I got myself this board with low-profile Bear drop trucks, which I'm finding I like as much or better than the Randals on my older (Sector 9 'Bomb Hills') board. The Bears bring the Landyachtz board way down close to the ground without making it feel weird and stiff like the Loaded drop-deck boards, which many love but I can't get into.
