The Zombies have finally risen. Reborn from all the freeride wheels we've killed the Zombie is 100% deadly. Built on a large 42mm injection molded core Zombie's roll super quick, ideal for hunting down useless humans. The newest member of the Hawgs family is truely sideset with the inner edge of the bearing perfectly aligned with the inner edge of the wheel. The Zombie's sideset stance and round edges make for a super smooth transition from gripping a carve to throwing a slide. With a contact patch of 33mm there's enough resistance to slow you down during a slide while the rounded edges make for a predictable drift. After scratching their backs on tombstones, the Zombies come to you with a stone ground finish making them easy to rip as soon as you get your hands on them. Whether you're freeriding or ripping around town; Shred the Dead. ZOMBIES!!!!

Riding around on my friends super shaka with some otangs, the slide was decent, but it felt a lil bit choppy. Another friend had some seismic landslides, they were to smooth and I felt like they wouldn't be able to grip a whole lot.
Got the zombie hawgs and oh do I love them. I broke them in after a day or two of sliding and they slide just like butter on a hot pan, but still grippy enough to not slip out at higher speeds. Very predictable slide.

i dont really have much to compare them to except 78a monster hawgs and some shitty clear red s9 wheels. im fairly new to longboarding but i just got the 9two5 with the 82a zombies. before this board i was just cruising around and about 2 maby 3 days after getting my new setup and i have standups, speed checks, colemans down. they slide alot better now and i have had them for about 5 days riding for atleast an hour a day. does leave light thane lines. quiet but kinda choppy and they dont really like to break loose unless your going decently fast so may not be good for just starting out. worked for me but i felt it could have been easier to learn. rambling aside not having much to compare to i would give them a 7.5

OH MY @#&%#(%)!!!. there. that summed up how good these wheels are. they slide with barely any sound, and they still have that awesome feeling when you're really locking into those rough yet smooth slides. but why only four stars? it's great for sliding no doubt, but it takes an ass of a time to break em into that go weardown that makes your feet feel happy when tearing up the streets. oh and they feel orgasmic in your hand when you first feel them, must be the zombie voodoo that landy put on it or something. peace.
