Fully Assembled and Ready Ready to Ride
Daddies gives you a few options to customize your longboard. Here is a listing of the choices you have available.

Wheel Hardness

  • Daddies gives you the option to pick the hardness or "durometer" of your 70mm Abec11 Flashback or Grippin Wheels.
     

  • Durometer runs on a number scale 100a being super hard for freestyle type skating and 72a being super soft gum rubber.
     

  • Daddies recommends 78a durometer for beginning longboarders.
    78a durometer is soft, so it won't slide out easily when carving.

     

  • Kryptonics Route 70mm 78a are available in Blue, Clear, or Red
     

  • Sector 9 Nineballs are available 70mm 78a.

  •  

  • 70's flashbacks or Grippins are available in the following durometers. 92a, 88a, 84a, 81a, 78a, 75a, 72a.

 

Bearings

  • Your complete longboard comes standard with ABEC 3 bearings. You have the option to upgrade your bearings.
    Better bearings = higher speeds and a smoother, longer, roll.

Randal Trucks

  • Randal 150mm - 150mm axle length, fast turning, great for carving. If you need to turn tight corners, choose these.
     

  • Randal 180mm - 180mm axle length, great for hill bombing, turns a little slower than the 150mm.
     

  • Randal 160mm - Great for high speeds. 160mm axle length. Kingpin sits at a better angle for great stability at high speeds.
    Adds +$10.00 to complete price. 
    Please Note That Due To The Larger Hole Pattern on Randal 160mm Trucks Your Deck Will Be Drilled To Accommodate The Trucks.

Daddy, What are skateboard bearing spacers?
Bearing spacers are small metal tubes that fit between the bearings in your skateboard and longboard wheels. When you mount your wheels on your trucks, the axle slides through one bearing, then through a spacer, and through the second bearing. PLEASE NOTE: Your trucks come standard with 4 little washers called speed rings. These little guys grab the inner tube of the bearings, called the inner race. DO NOT THROW THESE LITTLE GUYS AWAY. You will need them if you want to properly assemble or (re)assemble your wheels and bearings.

Why should I buy them Daddy?
When your axle nut is tightened down properly on your skateboard trucks, they insure that when the wheel is spinning, the bearings remain parallel. This will give you better glide on the flats and prolong your bearings life. Which is nice if you have paid $120 for ceramic bearings.
