Longboard Complete Information and Durometer Chart
Complete longboards are shipped fully assembled built to your specifications. We give you many choices to customize your longboard the way you want. Wheels - You have many wheels choices to choose from. Typically for all around longboarding you will want to choose a 70mm 78a wheels such as the Dano DBS 70mm wheels. This is a good size for transportation and general hill bombing. The biggest question we receive is about the durometer or wheel hardness. In general 75a durometer wheels are very gummy and sofy while 99a durometer is rock hard. Again, for general longboarding you will want a durometer between 75a and 84a. |
Bearings - All completes ship with our DBS Abec 7 bearings. You have many bearing options. Our DBS 7's are a great all around bearing featuring a dual removable shield which is great for keeping grime out of your bearings. If you want nicer, longer glide look to update your bearings to Bones Swiss or IDS Oust 5's. Better bearings give you a higher top speed and longer glide on the flats. If you are on a budget you will not be disappointed with our DBS 7's.

Longboard Trucks - You have a few choices for your trucks. Paris, Tracker, Randal, Gullwing. All of these trucks feature a reverse kingpin design giving you increased turnability while sustaining stability at higher speeds. Longboard trucks are typically available in 2 sizes 180mm width and 150mm width. For downhill and higher speed longboarding or increased stability go with trucks in the 180mm size. For increased turning and manueverability take a look at the 150mm width trucks.
