These are the smoothest bearings I have ever come across. They are SUPER quiet and get you up to speed in a scary amount of time. Put these on a nice DH board and go down a nice hill and you will quickly realize that these bearings makes a 0-30 mph roll seem like a walk in the park. However, they do tend to slow down on flats quicker than other bearings I have tried (Bones Red mostly) and the price might not necessarily justify the product exactly. Slightly overpriced, but hey, who am I to complain?

I have a six wheel, 47" longboard and I tried the stock Sector 9 bearings that came with it and they were ok for about a week of riding. I went to my local skate shop and picked up 2 sets of Ninja ABEC 7 bearings. I have lived and died by these bearings for the last 4 years without replacement. I tried Lucky bearings, but nothing rolled quite as smooth, quiet and quickly as Ninjas!

I got a set of these last fall for my longboard to ditch the POS ABEC 3s I got from the shelf and these are awesome bearings, because the WI bearings I had in my shortboard spun out I now have them in my shortboard and it's a pretty smooth ride now and much better than what I had to deal with from the start on either board. I'd definitely buy another set of these if I needed them.

Gotta question the suspect review by D.M.G. - maybe a competitor to Ninja or just clueless?? These are hands down the best bearings I have ever used and I have skated them all (been skating since the late 70s). I am also an engineer and trained machinist, so I know tech and quality. The Japanese make the best stuff and these bearings are NO exception. It is comical to see people talk about Swiss bearings - the Swiss make nice cuckoo clocks - the Japanese make all the electronics, cars, machinery, etc.. Go to Switzerland (I have) and you will see their machine shops using Japanes machine tools. The skate market is full of mostly Chinese crap labeled to ABC ratings they do not meet and often labaled as Swiss when they are not even made in Switzerland, which is itself no great claim. I also test every set of skate bearings I buy on precision test equipment for where I work (yeah, the powers that be would probably fire me for personal use of the equipment) and these bearings blow the doors off everything else I ever bought in terms of noise, steel quality, etc.. Trust me, these are the best. You can buy myth and hyped junk, or the real deal - these are the real deal.

i thought these bearings were gunna be worth the $$$ i spent on them but i friggin regret it. One reason cuz it has ryan sheckler's name on them. Caught me by surprise. Second, one-sided shields... They dint even mention it in the info... Easily got rusty too. If the DBS Abec 7s were available at the time i definitely wudve bought those.
