Great Sliding, but are they durable after summer?

I bought these wheels a couple months ago, and I gotta' say, these are very good sliding wheels. I wanted some wheels I could slide right out of the box, so I grabbed a set of durians. They slide like butter! I was able to do 180 slides, and toe/heel slide a lot better than I used to. I feel pretty lucky, because my friend had a set of yellows, and they coned in. But I'm checking every ride I get done with to see if mine are starting to cone in as well. Even though it looks like it, it probably isn't. I just hope they last me longer than the summer. Otherwise the durability, I love these wheels.

From my experience these wheels seem to chatter quite a lot when sliding. This occurs on smooth and rough surfaces; on stiff and flexy boards. Higher speeds seem to help and for some reason they slide smoothly in toe-side stand up slides-think due to me de-weighting. The set I have is well ridden in and friends riding the same wheel seem to say the same. I believe the contact patch and diameter are too large for the wheel duro and lip stiffness. My guess is that the 86a (yellow) urethane may work better on this particular wheel and that the 83a urethane would be fine on the stimulus. Can you comment on this, Dan? Im not knocking this wheel though, I ride them a lot...

the durian's are great!! I have the purple set and I love them, they are great for sliding, but still provide enough grip carving and corners. I recommend these wheels to anyone.
