Nothing's goes with a new set of wheels better than a fresh set of bearings. If you're not sure what bearings do, they're what makes the wheels (and the entire board) move. They fit tightly and stay inside the wheel hubs using pressure. All skateboard bearings are sold in sets of 8 (2 per wheel).
If the board is to be used for all-around riding or getting around town, spacers are NOT needed. Spacers sit between the bearings in the wheel and provide additional stability for more advanced riding.
Used to keep the bolts on your board nice and tight and/or to assemble the board.
Lubricant and cleaning kits are used to keep the bearings in the wheels turning quickly and smoothly; if this is your first board, these upgrades are not necessary. Make sure you love to ride first!

The Orangatang Fat Free wheel’s offset design and a relatively wide contact patch make for good grip. Rounded lips with stiff flex characteristics for clean slide initiation and smooth, chatter-free slides. Stone ground surface for consistent slides right out of the box and more consistent wear over the life of the wheel.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Love these wheels to death.
I got a set of the 86a and im riding them on my tesseract and they slide like butter. Wasn't really expecting this clean of a slide from an 86a wheel and especially an otang, but these things crap golden yellow thane everywhere they go. The slide is super predictable and smooth, they core super evenly, and the lip is super rounded so the hookup is glidy as all hell. Ge the 86a! you wont regret it.
Complete sugar
Best wheels ever I had the 80a and after a sesh or two hey start to dump thane every where. They have a super nice kick out and the hook up is complete butter. All together they are a greater slidey freeride wheel that wears really consistently
?
Would these wheels be ok for a 27" board? For like a mini cruiser?
86A review
I've bought these wheels in every durometer, and overall they are a fantastic wheel, they are very similar to the stimulus. the 80A, I found that they were quite chattery, but apart from that they were good for long standup slides, 83A was the durometer I liked the most, they didn't chatter and they had a very good hookup, basically they slid when they needed to and they gripped when they needed to. the 86A was very good for short 180's in rapid succession, I found them as more of a tech slide wheel.

So basically I would recommend the 83A for a good freeride wheel, and the 86A for a solid tech sliding wheel. I tried these wheels on my loaded tesseract and kanthaka. The 80A I wouldnt recommend because of the inconsistency's that it has, its very chalky, and it iced out on me a few times.

Smooth release and hookup
Fat Frees are great as they fit under conventional full width decks without cut outs. These things have a smooth release and consistent feel when hooking back up. Get the yellow 86a's.

I just wish they were center set so they could be flipped and last longer. Don't throw a speedcheck on Zoo Bomb without 'em!
Great all around wheels
I've had these wheels for about 8 or 9 months and in most of that time have used them for cruising. Recently I got a lanyachtz drop hammer deck and learned to slide. Me being 170 pounds combined with the stone ground finish in 80a.....sliding is a breeze. I've gotta say they're the perfect in grip, but can easily break traction into a slide. I have no complaints
83a is the shit
Ive ridden blue polka dots, butterballs, street hawgz, and a ton of other wheels but nothing compares to 83a fat frees. I dont know why people hate on otang so much especially their purple wheels. They have the smoothest slide, really good wear pattern, and actually thane alot Although im only 100 lbs. ive hit 60 ft standies on this wheel with confidence that i wouldnt highside or ice out. All in all if your looking for a smaller wheel with a great slide and that thanes get 83a fat frees.
grippy grippy
thewse wheels grip up everyy slide getting cry babs next time
86a
The 86a yellow are a bit icey and slide out a lot, still amazing wheels though
okay wheel
chatter a lot with bearing spacers i had 80a get the 83a
Awesome
These wheels perform exact to their description. I bought the 83a duro and they are awesome
A-MAZING
Best wheels ever. I finally learned how to slide on them. Great for downhill too!
VERY VERY VERY GRIPPY!!!
i have the 80a version of these wheels they are insanely grippy and wont let go of the ground!! Also these wheels chunk after like the first few days of riding. they also have the weird craters all over them that pop up everywhere over all im not satisfied!!
really good wheels
They are great. They are really easy to break in because of the stone ground finish. They break into slides really easy and once the slide starts you dont stop, but they are still easy to control. they are very durable they dont flat spot but they dont thane.
Nice wheels
All durometers have a nice slide, nothing amazing but still very nice
Best ever
I bought these wheels from a friend they are amazing my best slide on them was a 47 foot standup!!!!!!
