this board sucks and has alredy falen apart get the tan tien it is cheaper and better if you want the best board ever get the motion decker it is beast. DO NOT BUY THIS BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apex has not fixed their "gluing" problem at all. Within three months this sweet-looking board my son spent over $300 of his own babysitting money on was splitting all around the edges. I contacted Original and they said they would replace it, and said it was not a hazard to ride, but it looked awful and was very splintery to pick up or carry. I will say that once I sent in photos they immediately sent me a UPS label, (although it was a real challenge to package- don't throw away the box it comes in if you do purchase this product!) I mailed it in over two weeks ago and have had no response from Original. I called today and it was "still in the shop". We'll see... so far I am very disappointed.

This is the most amazing board I've ridden, it just does everything you want carves, slides, manuals, anything. This board does exactly what you want it too. Most amazing free ride board ever ridden, awesome board guaranteed to please.

The deck really is great, I don't know enough to be able to tell how it does with abuse, but its a great all around board. There really are biased views on original or their trucks so if you don't like original you will prolly never say a good thing about them, but this deck really is rather inovative upgrade to the first apex 37. The board shall last out any board, and if it doesn't Original Skateboards will go out of their way to help you. By now the Original Co. has fixed all of the defects in the board, there was a section of time in November December area where something was wrong with their "gluing" (suposedly it is not really a glue pursay) process and eventually the plys of wood would eventually start splitting. With the carbon bar, the board will keep its pop, and have strength throughout its long life. The only fallbacks to the deck I have noticed is the stock griptape will wear rather quickly, no biggie though because its simple to re-grip with even better grip tape. And the deck does not have a lot of concave but I'm used to a flat board so no biggy. The paris trucks are my first set of reverse kingpin trucks, I decided on paris instead of randal trucks because paris has a lifetime warranty for their trucks, so if they bend, (which any truck will do over time of boppin around) you could give them a call pay for shipping your trucks, and get them replaced for the cost of shipping as opposed to the 50ish dollars spent on a new set bought again. These 50 degree 180 mm trucks have a great dive, it will take some getting used to from just using indie trucks, but I sure do like the. And with a longer kinpin than the indies, I can fit venom bushings on the truck with no problem. Great Set up.
