Randal R-II 160mm Downhill Skateboard Trucks - SET OF TWO

Out of Stock

Quick Overview

Before precision trucks there was the 160mm downhill trucks! They are great for high-speed and luges!

[Email me when it's back in stock]

The Randal 160mm Downhill Trucks are great for high speed (40+MPH) downhill longboarding. These trucks will work on drop-through and top-mount boards. If you want a tuck that carves good take a look at the Randal 150mm or 180mm.

Please note that Randal 160mm DH Trucks have the old school hole pattern (the bigger one). If you longboard has the new school hole pattern you will have to drill your own holes.

Cmon randal!
I really wish Randal would make a precision version of their trucks. They are Some OG trucks that have a lot of fans and need some more products.
different hangar
i want to buy these and switch the hangar out with a caliber one because i hear these trucks are really good for downhill and thats what i want to do but the stock hangar is just to small
hey dan i have these trucks and they are great at high speeds but right now i only have 76mm flywheels and i was wondering if it will mess up the trucks if i put on 90mm flywheels? Dan Loveland Writes - You should be fine with 90m wheels on these trucks.
sweet truck I love it
I have done 55 mph with these babies there amazing I have skated marry with them they did great on that if your just learning speedboarding these are the trucks to get because of the fact that they never get wobble and from the start they are a good truck to learn on if you really wanna pay some money get the smokies thats the next thing im getting but if you want the best cheep downhill truck these are the ones for all the people why like grizzles or want to get them i do highly recomend them but the bushings on them suck and don't give a consistant turn so if you do get grizzlies get some jim-z bushings because that is a nice set up
I lost a bet at school today becuz i was under the knowledge that these were R-1s (which they were a few months ago) but apperently, sum jerks at Randal co. decided to go and change the baseplate to a randal 2 style... which to me makes no sense becuz all the dh boards fit the old school randal 1 hole pattern.. would anyone like to explain? Dan Loveland Writes - The DH 160 has an old school hole pattern. Thats it.
I Was considering buying these trucks I currently have the Randal R-II 180mm on my BombHillsNotCountries S9 Pintail and they work just perfect. They are set up loose enough so there is good carve but since these trucks are smaller in width i was wondering wouldn't that allow them to turn more as well as become less stable at higher speeds? My plan for my deck is the Landy Chinook Deck With 180mm Grizzlys Khiro bushings ceramic bearings 81a Gumballs Ect Any Advice on nice weather to slap on these new randalls because i love speed but i need a bit of carving as well and the width worrys me. Thanks Very Much Daivd H Dan Loveland Writes - The Randal 160DH trucks are very stable and do not carve very much.
These are some great intro DH trucks, I have them on a landyachtz DH 08 deck, with zero wobbble until 54mph+. I was wondering, could I put 97mm flywheels on my setup without any wheel bite?
These things were amazing on my friends Evo, they are rediculously stable, and smooth, just keep in mind that if you ride these around where you will not be riding mostly REALLY steep hills, they are not going to turn at all.
These truck are a bargain and a half and will instantly make you much more stable at higher speeds than any carving trucks. these trucks are not for carving a hill at 25mph. but they will come to life and be very carvy at 35 Mph plus. If you like bombing hills and have not tried a down hill truck yet this is the way to go. Dan Loveland Writes - Tad, thanks for the review. I could not have said that better. These trucks are great for high speeds but please don't put them on your flatlan cruiser.
will these trucks work with powell bones super swiss six bearings and orangatangs in heat 80a wheels?---- Yes, they will work just fine together.
