Rayne Demonseed

The Rayne Demonseed is a speed demon with a million tricks up its sleeve. It's a double drop design featuring not only a universal drop through mounting but also comfortable 1-inch linear drop platform. What this does is makes sure your Demonseed is extremely low to the ground, lowering your center of gravity. Its 34.5 inch wheelbase also adds to the ballsy stability you already have, making sure that when you're charging as fast as humanely possible, you're ready to hit the speed of light. But not only is the Demonseed awesome for downhilling, it's also a great long distance skating board. Because the Demonseed is built to be extremely low, it doubles as a great push board. The Demonseed is the board of choice for long distance skaters Paul Kent and Aaron Enevoldsen who has pushed this board across countries such as Morocco and Peru. Because of its bamboo and fiberglass construction, the Rayne Demonseed can handle these long distance skate trips over thousands of miles through rain, dirt, mud, ice, and all other forms of destruction mother nature wants to throw at it. Whether downhilling and freeriding is your fix, or if you're ready to go from coast to coast via skateboard, the Rayne Demonseed is sure to suit your style just right.

The board comes fully assembled and ready to ride at no extra charge. If you want to assemble the board yourself, we send you all the hardware you need.
Grip tape is applied to the top of the deck to provide the rider traction.
If the board is to be used for all-around riding or getting around town, spacers are NOT needed. Spacers sit between the bearings in the wheel and provide additional stability for more advanced riding.
Used to keep the bolts on your board nice and tight and/or to assemble the board.
Lubricant and cleaning kits are used to keep the bearings in the wheels turning quickly and smoothly; if this is your first board, these upgrades are not necessary. Make sure you love to ride first!
Drop Thru shock pads, while not required to enjoy your ride, are a great way to remove unwanted vibrations from the road.
CUSTOMER REVIEWS
really nice board
Its a fantastic board, especially if you like being low. I use it for all kinds of stuff; like as a weapon or to mow the lawn. overall good for most stuff
No idea why there are any complaints?
THIS BOARD RIDES LIKE A DREAM! Definitely a perfect choice. The make is solid, seemingly indestructible. It's fast and extremely stable during high speed runs. I am 5'5" and it is not too large and lighter then other boards of it's size. On top of this, the graphic of the Antichrist is as evil as demon gets. Only one complaint is that the grip tape that came stock with the assembled deal is slightly bubbled, but not too bad. I own 3 long boards (Arbor, Sector 9, and this one), this is my favorite and go to board.

Nice stick
I am using my d-seed for LDP. I like the small amount of flex (195lbs). I am running Bear 852s with O-tang Kegels in 80a. No rail bite. No speed wobbles. Its been pretty comfortable on those rails-to-trails near my house. I'm up to pushing 16 miles so far and no complaints.
Great
Great board! I have Size 13 shoe and I''m 6'4 and this is perfect. My feet don't hang off and a board that finely fits my tuck. Great for freeriding and down hill of course. Even if your regular size I still would buy this.Or the nemesis.
Under-Rated
Hands down best board I've ever bought. I like it way better then my Landyachtz Switch or Wolfshark. Even though it's a bit more expensive It's worth it. I'm a big dude and this board fit my stance perfectly. Great for fast down-hill freeride or slow freeride If that's your game. Buy this board! AMAZING!
Top Graphic
Can anyone please tell me if this board comes with the lighting bolt graphic you see in the picture on the top of the board?
Bobbles in griptape
the boart is realy nice :D. sadly i recomend putting ur griptape on yourself. when i got my board i were realy dissaponted findig my epic board with shitty griptape. PS: for the ones who like to use the tip/tail for doing tricks. it works ok. but the board is definently a winner when it comes to sliding downhill.
Yo, Anymnous
This board is pretty big for a person your size. You should check out the smaller version of the Demonseed, the Nemesis.
help
Is this a good board for beginning long boarding, as i have had skateboarding experience. I am also smaller at 5ft 3in
Best board ever
This board is honestly my favorite board, its foot pockets really lock you in for going downhill, i got it about 3 weeks ago and so far ive learnt how to do a 180 heel slide and switch, this board is soo easy to manuver on considering its size, im 5'6 and to me this is the most comfortable board ever but thats just my opinon, if your around my height and looking at this board i suggest also looking at the rayne nemises its basicly a smaller top mounted version of the demonseed. i would also like to give a shout out to Daddies, best board shop ive ordered from thanks alot you really hooked me up with my demonseed<3
sweet ride
first night i took my demonseed out i was bombing hills harder than ever before, i threw my old trucks and durians on this and was sliding like crazy too. tons of foot space and handles great. super low, i like!
Top of the deck
Hey Dan, I'm trying to decide if I should get black grip, or clear grip. What does the top of the board look like? Just wood grain? Or does it say Rayne? -- Andrew, the top of the Demonseed is all black with no graphics.
This deck is SICK!
I have owned this for two days and I am blown away...rode my first deck for 2.5 years (arbor pin) and it was great!! But this deck is in a different league! This was the last piece to my DH setup and I couldnt be happier!! This board is super stiff (I'm 6'3" 190lbs. and it doesn't flex) and is the perfect size for a bigger rider who wants unlimited speed potential...Get this deck and some flywheels....and never look back! Best deck I have ever ridden...hands down!
Awesome
i was stoked when i first received it, my setup is demonseed with paris 195mm 90a divine bushings, 76mm 78a flywheels and DBS bearings, rides like a dream and is super low,a little on the heavy side, about 10 to 11 pounds maybe, very stable and easy to push, this being my first drop deck board, i love it.
Buy it and don't look back
It's a pain to get the trucks on but..... It's like riding on the wings of angels. I was a little apprehensive at first but once I bombed with it I knew that it was the board.
Great board. Solid as a tank. Fun as hell.
I've had this deck now for a year and it's my go-to board. I've used it for sliding with Bear 852's and Flashbacks, I've bombed on it with .44 Calibers and Cannibals and I've pushed 110+ miles once in a day with some Monster Hawgs on it. It's easily maintained and doesn't scratch easily. I had a bit of bad luck where my board rolled down my driveway into the street and a car ran over the end of the board and bent one of my .44 Cal hangers to hell. It only scuffed the graphic near one of the rails on this deck. I'm very impressed with the construction of this board. Money well spent.
It's tight yo
Really good for downhill riding.. and carving on it is pretty fun as well. But not the best for free riding. I mean you can do freeride on it.. but there are better boards out there for that. But if you just want a board that goes fast and does not get speed wobbles get it!
Nice board..
This board is awesome for downhill. It's a pain in the ass to carry around, since its really heavy. If you're looking to get a board for only downhill, this is it. if you want a board that can handle speed, but is a little more versatile, go for the nemesis.
awesome
this board is extremely stable but corners like a champ don't even think about it just by it!
gnar-shredder
This is a great deck - very stable at speed but still fairly responsive and maneuverable. One piece of caution for average sized riders - this this is HUUUGE! I am 5'10" with size 9.5 US shoes, and it was just too big for me - however, it is a good board for those new to DH, since it has such a huge EFP that you can experiment and figure out what foot positions work best for you. For freeriding, the foot pockets are just too far apart for me. I sold mine to a taller riding buddy, and he loves the thing. Recommend dropthrough mounting Bear 852s, putting on Venom double barrels or barrel/stims, and flipping the hangers - also be careful about 70mm wheels - it's already pretty low even before you flip the hangers...
heavy?
this is a super light board, i dont know what this guy's talking about. it's bamboo. for instance, it's bigger than the eastside drop in every category, and yet it's far lighter at the same time.
warning this deck may cause confidence seriously its insiprationably when ur doing 60 down the biggest f*cking hill in ur local area. a incredible deck
When will this board be back in stock? Dan Loveland Writes - End of April is what we are hearing. Thank you.
