can I mount gullwing sidewinders on this board
I ordered this board, at first it was a little hard getting used to it, after 20 minutes i was doing standies, i bought it with some vicious griptape (best griptape ever), some paris 180 v2 trucks and these wheels 727, they are buttery and easy to slide in. I love this board, just in case, if you have the money, get the bobsquad noseguards, they are made of high quality steel and dont add too much weight on the board.
this is a awesome all around board from my experiences this board is great for sliding it is also a very strong board i curbed it at least 15 times and it has not cracked yet.
its really cheap
Freeriding never felt so good
At first i didnt like this board but now im in love, i was expecting it to be like the devish with alittle flex but its not at all. Best free ride board ever. Some people are saying that its not durable but i was going about 30mph and i went for a huge stand up slide and i sliped out, i broke four different bones in my arm and wrist but when the board hit a curb all it got was a tiny little dent and thats it. I would recomend this board to anyone who wants to bomb medium sized hills and that loves sliding.
Great all-around board, no flaws!
Coming from a dervish rider, i was looking for a stiff freeride board. I waited months at a time for this board to come back in stock and have been riding it for the past 6 weeks. This thing is perfect! Wide platform with deep concave makes for a locked in feel, as well as hard carving leverage. the nose and tails kick up and is very funtional. The wheelbase is a tad bit shorter than i was used to, but after a day of riding it retains a natural carvy feel. It is light and rather tough in spite of the buzz going around. I've ran it straight into a concrete wall pretty fast and it only sustained a small dent and a little fiberglass fray. this is a must buy for anyone who loves drop thru's. i have nothing negative to say about it
Great overall board. On the stiffer side but has a just enough flex. Sick shape. It is stable. It is kinda heavy which is the only down side. Sweet designs on the bottom. Overall a great board
hey dan i was planning to get a vendetta and i was wondering if they could mount original skateboard trucks ---- Dan Loveland Writes - The Vendetta is a drop thru style boards so you cannot use Original trucks. Paris, Randal, Grizzly will work fine. ?????
An all around board
If this board was in Mario Kart, this board would be Mario. This is an all around board. If you're looking for something more downhill specific or freeride, cruising specific I would try something else. But for a little of everything, this is it. It's a very comfortable wheelbase for sliding and has a very nice flex to it. Don't let the flex turn you off though because this board can handle a bit of speed too. Personally I have taken this board up to 35 mph with no problems on Paris trucks. The only problems I've had with this board is I curbed it once and there was some damage to the nose. That's only because it's the nature of a drop through board. It was nothing a little wood glue couldn't fix though. Other than that, this board has the natural strength all of the Rayne boards have with it's fiberglass and vertically laminated bamboo construction. It's a very strong yet also light weight board. There are also subtle nose and tails on this board too. It's very nice to kick up on curbs and to do shovits and manuals. It's just the best board out there to do a little of everything. There is better out there but I would HIGHLY suggest this for someone like a college student needing a cruising and a fun little board with it too, or someone who wants one board for it all. If you have a specific taste in either downhilling only or freeriding only I would try something else out there. But you really can't go wrong with this board! :)
let me just start by saying ive ridden this board since feb '12, ive had paris and bears on it and an number of different type of wheels including bustin swifts 78a, no matter which way i set this board up I always loved it, its great for all slides such as 180 standies. And it also is a very nice downhill board which supprised me. I have curbed the board many times and there are only a few chipes and some scratches on it. The construction of all rayne boards are 5 out of 5. this board is by far the best board i have ever ridden, nothing will ever compair. GET THE VENDETTA NOW!!!
super light and symetrical which is really good for when it comes to sliding only problem is it can get wheel bite other than that its super sweet for dh upto 35 or 40 and perfect for sliding
This board rides great and is definitely an upgrade from the dervish. But, as much as I like it, the Vendetta doesn't seem to have the best build quality. My board hit a curb after trying to learn BS 180 power slide and it now has a major crack at the nose going through the top layer of fiber glass and two layers of bamboo. As much as I like the board the build quality seems pretty bad. I've hit curbs with my Dervish a few times as well and never had any cracks, only a few minor dents that don't matter. With all that said, the board is still fun to ride but you're definitely going to need a nose guard of some sort to protect it.
This board slides amazing and is still good for downhill, and its the best freeride board i have ever ridden. you should seriously consider getting it.
This is by far the best board I have ever owned for those of you who think it's not durable I ran my earthwing supermodel into a curb coming out of a Coleman it exploded the whole nose! I have given this board many beatings and it keeps going strong! This board is hella awesome! Thanks Rayne!!
Best board i've ridden
This is the first board I get, after, I got a Bustin mini maestro and a Rayne Timeline, but the Vendetta is the best I have. His shape his almost perfect, there is only the tails, which I would appreciate being longer, but I'll live with them. Very great board!
