Nothing's goes with a new set of wheels better than a fresh set of bearings. If you're not sure what bearings do, they're what makes the wheels (and the entire board) move. They fit tightly and stay inside the wheel hubs using pressure. All skateboard bearings are sold in sets of 8 (2 per wheel).
If the board is to be used for all-around riding or getting around town, spacers are NOT needed. Spacers sit between the bearings in the wheel and provide additional stability for more advanced riding.
Used to keep the bolts on your board nice and tight and/or to assemble the board.
Lubricant and cleaning kits are used to keep the bearings in the wheels turning quickly and smoothly; if this is your first board, these upgrades are not necessary. Make sure you love to ride first!

How They Shred:

Orangatang Stimulus Wheels slide like a dream. They come pre-ground and are ready for some serious shredding action. The rounded lip ensures that your wheels don’t hook up coming out of a slide when you don’t want them to. They have a great wear pattern as well and tend to last quite a long time even if you slide day in and day out! They come in three different durometers; 80a, 83a, and 86a. The harder the durometer, the easier it will be to slide at lower speeds. The lower the durometer, the more controllable your slides will be at higher speeds. The Orangatang Stimulus has been a powerhouse in the freeriding world since it’s debut and it’s popularity has not slowed down one bit. We really like the 80a stimulus for fast high-speed freeriding but generally throw the harder durometers on our “around town” cruiser setups because they slide so easy at low speeds. These are a great wheel that you are bound to enjoy!

OK
ok to do a couple of normal slides but standees on a maven... no chance
Better wheels for $50
My friend got these wheels (86a) and he let me test em out for the day. It took quite a long time to break in compared to other wheels. I could never tell if they broke in or not, but after roughly 4mm the slides got worse. These wheels are loud and super chattery, and worse of all no thane lines to make it worth it. My friend ended up sharding the wheels, and regrets the purchase. For 50 bucks I would definitely recommend other amazing wheels like BO Liam Morgans, Free Willies, Abec Freerides, etc.
Happy Skating!
Eh
When I was begging these wheels were good for learning the basics and posture-form of sliding, however when I got better I found they gave out half way throw and would catch me and I would fall forward, in other words I would high side every time which I could only get like at most 5 foot slides and then fail. So begging is great but later on I sucks bad, use them to get form and posture but when you start high siding a lot go for a softer wheel like blood orange Morgans, or abecs either are good
Eh
I have the 86a duro and learning to ride and slide on the was good. Upon later review I found that doing anything longer than about 20+ feet is extremely chattery. Very good slide initiation. Holding out slides kinda sucks butt. Would recommend seismic cry baby's, abec11 flashbacks, or pink power balls
LOOK HERE THIS IS ALL THE RIGHT ANSWERS
I'll get this quick. I ride w 6 other people all around 27 years old. I've cored over 50 wheels of all types you could think of. These weels ARE CHATTERY BUT good for beginners. I've ridden 3 sets of all durometers and if your debating to by a slide wheel get RAYNE ENVY THEY DUMP THANE AND SLDE AMAZING. these are good but not great. If your set of getting these get 83a there the okayest of them all

Great fast free ride wheel
This wheel is very good for fast free ride but is very chaddery
They're okay
I rode the yellow 86a, very icy, although that kind of goes along with a high durometer, however they were fairly chattery, it was kind of a rough, scrapey slide even for 86a durometer. Might be better in a lower durometer, but i prefered my 86a zombie hawgs far over these. They weren't awful, and functioned fine as a cruiser wheel.
They have a pretty easy release overall, so i did like that for learning. But they have little to no control of direction whatsoever once you're sideways.
The Daddies Ceramics fit really nicely into them.

Overall, they were useful for learning because of the easy release, but once you're past the really early stages of learning slides, you'll want to trade up to something with more predictability.
ie:
Hawgs, Cloud Rides (my favorites), Abec11, or Venom, to list a few.
Get anything but these
This wheel is so popular for some reason, but absolutely horrible. If you are thinking of getting these as your first sliding wheel, go for Cadillac Swingers or Pink Powerballs.
Eh
Good for beginners, leave small thane, choppy if your slide is over 4ft, I don't like them at all, don't get them just cuz there o tangs, don't get loaded just cuz all of your other friends have it, these wheels are ok but you can do way better for a less price
