The Nicaragua is a fun and flexy longboard for cruising around town. The S9 El Azteca is constructed from 4 ply maple sandwiched between 2 plys of fiberglass. This creates a flexy and aggressive board for carving and cruising, similar to a snowboard feel. The deck is cambered and preloaded to your weight, providing a snappy ride which pumps hard out of turns. A great deck for cruising the boardwalk or school. This is a very popular campus cruiser for the college crowd, or anyone looking for a fun, surfy feeling board.

This was my first longboard, and it was a great board to learn on. I know have a Kracked Skulls M1, and this board. I love this board. It's very thin, and light. This board is rather flexy under my 165lbs. When going into a hard carve, the for plied of maple and fiberglass give you really nice rebound out of the turn. The kick tail is nice to pop the board around, and is okay for manuals. For manuals, I prefer a kick tail that's stiffer, but this does the job. It's not the most stable board, but I've taken it up to 30 with no speed wobbles. This board isn't the best for sliding on, but it can be done. And since this board is rather high off the ground, I like to go off curbs. So all in all, if you're looking for a flexy decent board to learn on, you should look into this.

I got this as my 16th birthday present (forget a car or a super sweet 16, I got a longboard! SCORE!) and I am so happy with it! My other board (also a Sector 9) is much longer and heavier, so it was quite the change going from that to this, and I'm very happy with it.
It's got pretty good flex, but not too insanely unstable, and it's pretty snappy too.
It's awesome for taking to, say, the store, because it's lightweight and small enough to be convenient. Plus, no one would make me leave it outside cos they all want to look at it!
It's a gorgeous board, I just went with the stock set-up and I'm really happy with it.
And if you're considering getting it from another site, DON'T. Daddies is a-freakin-mazing, from customer service to shipping to the board itself, and the prices are unbeatable.
It's an awesome board, I'd recommend it to anyone!
