These gloves are the best gloves I have ever used!!!
The pucks are nice and thick and really long lasting, the double stitching on the gloves are really nice.
The only problem i had with the gloves were the thumbs, I let my friend use my gloves and worn away the stitching, but the problem can be fixed with a little shoe goo. Overall best gloves ever made!!
The best

I have had these about 2 months now, I gotta say, I have ridden almost every sliding glove out there and this is one of my favorites, It is not a very good downhill glove because you cannot pull the sides of the board as well but it still works! It has a great comfortable feel, it doesn't ever wear down for some reason and I slide hard! It is well worth the money but here are some things you should know!!!! Do not use in rain, it will ruin the leather, do not try to pull up the board as hard as you can to gain power in a hand slide or else your hand will slide off the board and most of all.... BUY IT HAVE FUN AND SKATE SAFE!!!!!!
AWESOME

Best gloves ive tried. Even better then the loaded ones. wich are great too. the velcro is nice and strong
Review from someone who used them correctly for almost a year.

First thing I have to say, is that the pucks absolutely suck on sector 9 gloves, they will last you maybe a month of long hands-down slides. But that isn't a big deal since you should only have to replace the palm puck (FYI the finger pucks are just to help your confidence, sliding with your fingers on the ground is a bad habit, so focus on not using them). These gloves are comfortable on your hands, the fit tightly and feel very secure. The main advantage that these gloves have over other slide gloves is that these feel much more safe since they are a thick leather so they boost your confidence when you are just getting into sliding. They also look pretty good also. The problem with these gloves is that after about a year of using them (in my experience at least)they start to rip apart, not from contact with the ground, just from getting sweaty and then drying off in really hot weather over and over again. Mine have almost completely torn under the fingers and under the palm puck. All in all I think they are worth the money, they just fall apart after about a year and they get a little bit hot during the summer but the advantages of having nice thick gloves that you feel comfortable doing hands down slides at high speeds with outweighs the cons.
At last, a realy quality slide glove

Had Loaded, Lush, selfmade and LY. Theise are so much better. Real quality leather and good pucks.
Awesome

I have had these gloves for about 6 months and have been really happy yes the threads will come loose if you press your thumb to the ground but other wise they are amazing they will give you a slight stain though if you gloves get wet from sweat, rain,or whatever the **** else was on your hands
pretty nice gloves

i have the all black 2010 version i havent used them in the rain so i didn't have issues with staining yet. the leather is nice my thumbs drag sometimes when i slide so i had to wrap mine in duct tape haha, the protective extra layer of leather on the thumbs started to come off. the pucks are pretty nice, but i do wish the palm puck velcro was lower. currently its smack dab in the center of my palm, i generally like it a bit lower centered over my wrist more. i originally bought these because they had finger pucks which i almost never use anymore because with them on it's nearly impossible to hold anything. lastly the pucks seem to wear through pretty fast, but i think they're delrin as opposed to the ultra high molecular weight polyethylene that is also popular....all in all a good buy with minor downsides.
best gloves ever!

i love these gloves, my friend has loaded ones and these are so much better i have had them for 3 months now and the still have a long time to go, but they do make your hands hot
I love these gloves.

Living in New England, it gets cold and these gloves keep me warm. The pucks are pretty durable, and I think that the placement is great. The leather is durable, but the stitching on the thumbs is coming apart. Overall, a great glove that fits... like a glove! I am glad that I purchased these because they will be better than any slide glove I can make.
Not worth the price.

Needs a thumb puck, seams rip after a few weeks, palm pucks grind down fast.
great gloves but stains your hands (when skating in the rain)

pros: when they're new, the leather can be a bit stiff. but once you skate in them a few times, they will fit nicely. they look badass. i have the black gloves with yellow accents. the pucks are tough! i've done colemans and even crashed with these gloves and the pucks are still intact. they're easy to wear since you only have to velcro them on. oh yeah, they're slightly cheaper than Loaded Race Gloves. haha. now for the cons: i've experienced with them is that they stain your hands black when you skate in the rain. but nothing a little soap, water and a good scrubbing won't take out. coming from loaded gloves... these S9 gloves don't have much padding in the palms. palms tend to hurt more from slide practice the whole afternoon. overall, i'm still happy. buy these! hahaha
Surprised!

Really great quality! Actually, they're the best quality leather slide gloves I've ever tried/owned that were made by a company. The leather is very high quality and tough. The palm puck placement is great. The velcro is strong. The inside liner feels great, and it's especially good if you skate in a place that gets cold (definitely not here...). The extra leather on the thumb is in the right place and does it's job. The finger pucks actually feel great, and they allow for more personal placement than single bar finger pucks. They're waay thicker too. The pucks in general are great---fast, durable (so far), and thick!I'm really happy I got these gloves. The only thing close to a negative is the yellow stains on your hands from the yellow leather--but that's NOTHING. Definitely worth getting these gloves. Recommended.
Awesome slide gloves!

These slide gloves is awesome! They worked great for me as a noob. They have thick cups that is very durable. The only downside with them is that they dont have thumb cups, and the leather on the thumbs becoms very worn. I fixed that problem with some tape. If you just started longboarding and want to start slide, this is the perfect gloves for you!
great

they keep your hands warm during winter skating. the leather is strong and they're very comfortable. the only weakness is that the puck seems to me to be a bit small, but thats coming off of landyachtz gloves. great glove overall!!!!
