Sugary, chalky, use whatever terms you like. The grip-to-slip ratio of this new 'thane is in the perfect zone for smooth, controlled slides with great hookup and grip when you need it.
Superior durability compared to other freeride urethanes - due to the advanced new formula, slightly wider contact patches, and centerset hubs, which make the wheels completely rotatable.
The softer yellow duro is just grippy enough for comfort through hairpin turns, while the blues are outstanding for freeride and technical sliding. All-around great wheels, poured in a fantastic new formula.

These are a great all around wheel. Most of you have ridden durians or stimuli one time or another, so this will be my comparison wheel. Landslide's are kinda like those. They take a little more push to initiate the slide, but once you've lost traction, they really shine. Unlike durians, they don't chatter. They aren't too "icy" where slides get too uncontrollable, but they aren't too "buttery" where it feels like every change you make mid-slide takes a bit of effort. A very happy medium. Slides are wayyy quieter than durians, but are not as quiet as ABEC 11s (or at least the ABEC 11s I've heard).
Apart from sliding, they dampen impact pretty well; the only wheels that I've ridden that are better in this aspect are durians. I ride in the city a lot so dampening is very important to me.
They also grip enough to the point where moderate speed corners are comfortable. I've comfortably bombed a couple steep garages with these, and these wheels don't suddenly give out. They give you enough warning before losing traction. They hold speed really well, also.
All in all, Seismic did a great job creating a freeride wheel that doubles as a great all-around wheel.

I have ridden on a ton of different wheels; Durians, In-Heats, Stimulus, Fireball Beasts, Venom Tweakers, Abec flywheels, Gumballs, Sector 9 slaloms, Cult converters, just to name a few. In comparison this wheel is my favorite bar none it will hold a line with a little practice and it slides like a dream. It initiates similar to the Beasts in that it takes a little push to get it started, but unlike the beast once these babies start to move sideways they don't snap instantly back. In the straights they remind me of durians, very fast with solid speed checks. But where durians chatter or feel choppy these wheels are pure butter. In short there is no better buy for a freeride 75mm wheel. Just ordered a set of the yellows so I'll review those soon!
