The Seismic metal coil springs' rapid energy return capitalizes on your thrust-carving action more efficiently than traditional urethane grommets (which are basically primitive dampening springs). The quicker the board rights itself after you unweight, the stronger you can pump.
For more stability, increase spring tension, buy heavier and/or dampening springs, or switch to the stable-turning baseplate. For more maneuverability, decrease spring tension, try lighter springs, or switch to the quick-turning baseplate.

These things are awesome, I got the Medium springs and they work great, I'm an all around Longboarder and the complete board I bought came with seismic trucks and the springs in it were waaaaay to loose for me. The Springs are perfect like I said and I would choose seismic springs over bushings any day. Make sure you choose quantity 2 because it only comes with two springs. these trucks are great because you can just slip in the new springs in like 10 minutes and be on your way.
