Picking out your trucks can be one of the biggest nuisances when customizing your skateboard complete. We carry the finest skateboard bushings such as Bones Hardcore Bushings and Khiro Bitch Bushings here at Daddies. Bushings are the small colored inserts of plastic material you find on your trucks below the kingpin nut. They come in a variety of shapes and durometers just like skateboard wheels. Often times you will have no issues with the stock bushings that come on your trucks, but if you find yourself having difficulty turning - no matter how much you loosen your trucks – it’s probably because you have extremely hard bushings and your body weight can’t compress them. You will want to go with softer bushings if you are experiencing tight trucks. If you find that you’re a grown ass man and weigh as such, you may want harder bushings because if you continue to crank and crank down your trucks, you may squish out your bushings causing them to crack or blow out. We always recommend that at first you try out the stock bushings that your trucks come with. Ride these bushings around for a while so they warm up a bit before you just start cranking or loosening your kingpin nuts. That will help you get a feel for where you are at with bushings. Fine tuning your bushings can be one of the hardest things you ever do with your skateboard, but once you find what you like stick with it and shred.
