Riding these wheels is really the only way to explain why Tunnel is still so well known after 30 years, but I will try my best to do so: They roll SO smoothly, great grip, great speed, and I can still break away if I want with my 78a reds (but I wouldn’t recommend the 78a for the sole purpose of slides). It makes my Hyper Carve feel like a different board! I am gonna get Rocks for my Flexdex when I wear its stock wheels out. Buy them! Tunnel knows their stuff.

Dan, to give a campus commuter a smooth glide with traction, which duro should I get: 78a or 82a?
Cheers. Great site!
Dan Loveland Writes - I would go 82a for a faster glide. You might sacrifice smoothnes a little but the added speed will be worth the trade off.
