Ive had these for about a year. They don't have a break in period really, soft straight from the bag, I've got yellow "83a" standard and I've bombed hard hills with these on a VANNY. A bit sketchy but I lived so no, they aren't made for DH but they can handle it. Great for hard carves, LDP, and stuff. Real fun.

probably the worst bushings i have ridden for speedboarding..(great for carving :D) god these suckers give off some wierd wobbles for me and my whole crew...at about 40-45 mph its noticable but very easy to deal with as they are very minor but when we got into the mid fifties on them we had crash after crash and some very panicked pendulmns to stop as the wobbles were so severe. mind you we are not amature skaters and are pretty good speedboarders who have ridden for years...great if you like to carve or cant go faster than 40mph but khiros are far better in my opinion. good luck and happy skating!
