Daddies rider Tad Drysdale is one of the oldest riders out there still competing in downhill skateboarding today. And has been doing it longer than a lot of riders have been around. Tad defended his title from last year's Mt.Tabor Downhill Challenge winning the Masters Class again. This annual race has been going on now for several years thanks to PDXdownhill and includes a Juniors (up to age 15), Open (16-39), Master Class (40 and over). It was awesome spectating this year and seeing all the different riders playing cat and mouse down this fairly fast inner city park road (tops speed of 35mph). Great seeing my teammate holding it down and still riding faster than most. He was battling long time friend and the original Maryhill Rat Deano Ozuna in the finals. Tad drafted him around the last big right turn before the straight to finish, and made his move just in time to pull ahead and take the win!
