Description:

Arbor Fish Koa

The Arbor Fish Koa is the classic pintail shape for cruising around town. It's a very popular board among beginners because not only is it a classic surfy look and feel, but it's also great to find what kind of riding style you want to get into. Its top mount design makes it extremely easy to learn the basics of longboarding. And the longer wheelbase and awesome effective foot platform is not only extremely stable but lets you release your inner dancer so that you can have fun and include a very free feeling ride. But no matter what style of riding you want to get into, you are sure to find it with the Arbor Fish Koa.

Great Cruiser-My First Board
I got this board to help get around campus. It's a beautiful board. I got it with the stock wheels (in red), Bones Reds bearings, and Randal 150mm trucks. This is my first board and I had barely ridden before. Now, I carve around campus with ease. I worried about being able to balance on this with such small trucks, but it really is fine. I believe going any wider would lead to kicking the trucks when pushing (as I have kicked the 150s before, which led to my only wreck so far). It is very stable. The only time I get squirrelly on it is when I go down a steeper hill and get up around 15-20mph. This is a given though with the size of the trucks and the purpose of the board. Also, I bailed once going down a hill when a car came and the board flew into a curb and flipped in the air a few times. I was terrified that the nose would chip off, but there was hardly a scuff. Maybe this was just luck, but my board has been durable as well. My only complaint is that the board is quite squeaky when you lean on it. To wrap it up, the board can make tight turns, handles bumps well, and looks great. It's a great commuter/cruiser board.
Fun for a Month
If you've never long boarded before this board is fun through early beginner stages but after that the board loses its charm. Its difficult to do slides at all let alone a high speeds. This board is really only good for cruising and carving and pintails don't have any functionality other than aesthetics. If that what you're looking for you can find cheaper boards that do the same thing, but if your looking to get good at long boarding spend the extra 50 bucks for a better board. I recommend the Loaded tesseract.
First Board; Great Choice
I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect board for me without dishing out too much money. After I stumbled upon this one, I knew it was for me.
I wanted a board to cruise around campus and my neighborhood, and although I haven't had it long, it has been great so far.
The board turns very well, rides smooth, takes bumps well, and really goes with one push.
I have mine hooked up with Randall R-II 150mm trucks, Red Dano's Downhill wheels, and Bones Reds Bearings. I was hesitant on getting 150mm, although it is recommended for pintails. I wanted stability, but I also wanted to be able to make sharp turns. The 150s are still very stable, even for myself (who is new to any kind of boarding).
From what I've done on it, it's a very good board for the money. It rides great and looks great too.
Amazing Board
I got this board last summer (2012 model) and it hasn't dissapointed me. I have 150mm paris trucks on there with 70mm abec 11 flashbacks and bones reds. This little board can carve like nothing I've ever seen and can just zoom down those slopes. For a little downside, it isn't a very wide board which makes sliding a little harder and the grip isn't the roughest either. I also find the 2013 art to be a little... not to my taste. For my personal preference this makes no difference as I enjoy simply carving and cruising. All in all, great job Arbor, this board is great for anything like carving and cruising and for the price you can't go wrong!

PEEL. STICK. ART.

This month, all orders over $19.95 get the newest sticker of the month. When robots take over the world, it will surely be more or less like when humans did: Some will be jerks, some will gather all the power, and some will just want to shred. Ted Cocuzza envisions a world where robots still have the freedom to throw a steezy layback grind on a DIY spot when they feel the need.

As always, every order will come with two free classic Daddies stickers at no cost. We know... we're sweet.
