As for the ride, these trucks are now a lot more smooth turning because of their less restrictive components and the Cal 2s are a good middle between paris/randals and calibers. (although still closer to the old cals) The low ride on the 44's makes kickout very easy and the lower angle makes slides stable and easy to hold out. The slop on these trucks is really reduced because of the solid kingpin and the new pivot seems to help reduce slop as well. The upgrades to this truck did a lot for the ride and it definitely didn't go unnoticed.
I was considering precision trucks at one point but I feel so comfortable on these trucks that I have decided to stick with Caliber for the time being. With some aftermarket bushings and precision Amish Washers these trucks feel absolutely perfect. I definitely have no complaints about these trucks, anyone looking to get into freeride should start here first.
