These trucks are very well constructed. Sturdy cast hangars, beautiful red finish and very well machined. There are no rough edges or play in the pivot cup. This is not a precision truck, but it is very very well made.
The stock bushings that come with the truck are acceptable barrel bushings on two cupped washers. I'm not sure of the durometer but they felt good for a 5'10" 190lb guy. I ended up switching them out for my harder khiro bushings, but the stock ones were by no means trash.
The trucks are responsive and turn well for being at lower angle. It did take some getting used to coming off of 50's. Going slow is difficult when it comes to turning as these trucks are not carvey, though they are responsive. However upon boming some really fast hills I was thankful for the added stability and surprised at how the trucks "woke up" at higher speeds.
There was a small knick in the paint of the truck but I didn't care at all. These are much heavier than what I am used to and you can definitely feel it when you ride, but as I stated before these are VERY sturdy and the added weight makes me feel more confident when I am riding fast, Now to be clear they're not HUGE and monsterously heavy by any means, but they do have some weight to them. ( They are 1lb each on a certified Hawai'i Highschool Athletic Association wrestling scale)
I would highly recommend these trucks (or any of the 44 cals for that matter) to anyone who is looking to go fast and still be able to shred up the asphalt when doing so.
