It is worth the money and is made well. I smashed the board pretty bad and it barely chopped it.
My board is set up with Randal 180's, Abec 11 83mm Flywheels, and Bones Swiss bearings. With the trucks mocked up all loosey-goosey, the 83mm wheels bite just as the rail lays frame, so there is plenty of room for this big of wheel by the time the king pins are cinched down a bit.
Riding this board is like the equivalent of being in a go cart. It's low to the ground, very stable at speed, and very responsive to your commands. Foot braking is a breeze as you only need to step down a couple inches. I did not get a chance to put it through a slide to try out the "gas pedals" as I'm not too good at that yet and didn't want to eff up my board the first day out by sending it into a curb :)
This is a great board for commuting, downhill, cruising, and sliding; with the wider width, it's great for bigger riders like me! Thanks to Eastside and Robin for killin' it and for your contribution to this hobby. FYI, when I was at Tabor, I ran into Rob, who was riding with some of the kids and teaching them how to slide. I'm proud to purchase products from someone so passionate and dedicated. Thanks again!
