Marcus Dalton Daddies Board Shop Team Rider

Rider Bio
Marcus Dalton is a rad up and coming skater from the Pacific Northwest. He has a super natural flowy style and that is one of our favorite things about him. That and that he speaks English, Spanish, and Mandarin... so thats pretty crazy. He is sick to skate with and a blast to watch shred. Marcus is up for pretty much up for everything and his switch checks are illin'! We are stoked to have Marcus on board with us and are even more stoked to see him develop as a rider. There is no doubt in our mind that he is going to be a name to watch out for!

10 Questions

How did you get into wood-pushing?

Been on a skateboard since I was fairly little, just pushing around, always loved it. I got into downhill skating about a year ago.

Where is your favorite place to skate?

Anything steep pretty much, not too picky.

Who are your favorite skaters?

I have to give it up to Miles Essert! So naturally steez-m'geez.

Between a bear, dragon, and a shark, which one would you fight and why?

Depends on the whereabouts of the battle, I suppose. Obviously I'm not trying to fight a shark in the water, where they are undoubtedly more agile and lethal. A bear, I would not mess with in a forest-like environment, but in the streets of New York, aint no thang. Dragons... If both of us (said dragon and I) were dropped from and airplane, I am obviously not in control of my body, and would not be able to avoid a fireblast. Dragons are pretty crafty on any landscape, but I would chose to fight a dragon purely for the fact that after I was dead, I would be remembered for fighting a mythical creature.

What is your current board setup?

S9 Lacey, 27in wheelbase. 50* randals, and either 80a or 78a cs raceforms.

What is your favorite food?

Who are your current sponsors?

Daddies Board Shop!

What is your favorite trick?

Phat toeside checks, and just fast standups.

Why do you like to ride for Daddies Board Shop?

They've been helping downhill skating grow from the start, and they're a huge part of the international scene. They've always been super nice to me, and I'm super excited I get to help them out.
