The only problem I have had for this board is that either the deck I got is flawed or the board is made out of very brittle wood. I have had this board for only three days and it is already chipped on two sides of the tail and on the wheel well. While this has not effected the performance of the board as a whole, it makes me not want to try any type of freestyle on the board. Granted that this board isn't meant for freestyle, but one no comply should not leave a 1 inch chip. (the chip is an inch wide and took off the whole top ply in the area of the chip) Also after ONE missed kickflip, the wheel well was chipped pretty badly. I'm not talking like scraping away the paint to show raw wood either, these chips are pretty significant and cause me to question the durability of the wood used in this deck.
Would I reccomend this deck for sliding and freeride? Absolutely
Would I reccomend it for a lot of pop tricks and flip tricks? Unfortunately, no, although the kick tail on this is great for such tricks. Unless you land tricks 100% of the time, the durability could cause an issue.
