Rider Bio
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Grew up street skating and riding homemade launch ramps and backyard half pipes. Played baseball and ran cross-country in high school. And started downhill skating while going to Portland State University where I got my degree in Communications. Made my first longboard and created Eastside Longboards soon after. Married my college crush from Tennessee, she's my southern sweetheart, very thankful to have her in my life! Skating has remained constant during all of my time on this planet. And has proven to be my balancing factor that keeps it all in check making me a very happy person in general. These last few years I've had the opportunity to do a lot of traveling for various downhill and push races around the nation and in Canada, also a few personal trips to Mexico and Costa Rica. Huge thanks to Daddies for making most of this possible! The world is an amazing place where I found there are rad skaters everywhere! My big focus is excelling at distance racing using strength and determination in my skating. Downhill is a big passion for me too, nothing like racing in leathers at top speed or shredding your local hillz all day. But my overall goal is to do it all, and stay physically and mentally in shape from it. Giving back is huge for me too which is the reason I take time to teach others including a community college education class for Longboarding 101. So awesome to see others catch on so quickly these days, such satisfaction knowing others are finding the same passion, Longboarding is getting huge!

Why do you like to ride for Daddies Board Shop?

Plain and simple, hands down best shop I know owned by the best family I know. They introduced longboards to Portland in 1995 and have never looked back...steadily working hard to spread gear all over the world. And making it possible for many thousands to access it and create their own experiences with it. They're my family and have always been since I've known what Longboarding is...they're my local shop - Portland Baby!

What are your thoughts on zombies?

Out of all the horror movies I like zombie flicks the most, always funny to see them getting shot up, blown up, and beat up. So yea zombies are cool, and my idea of comedy is said to be inappropriate sometimes too...I like to laugh!
