skate until death and behoned
I've had these for 2 years, mine are still riding fine with minimum maintenance. so fare they have a slight wobble to them but the still roll like there new. they have a very high roll speed they feel like ur flouting on a pocket of air when ur whipping down a hill. the price is high but "kinda" worth it.

there not ganna make u better unless ur already good
Tekton Ceramic - 4/5*
Duration of Use: 6mo

Overall Use:
They're great bearings, and very fast (faster than. Spacers and rings built-in are useful, and you can crank down and get them as secure as possible.

Easy to clean (I've put a bottle of skanunu through them), and they do clean up well. They're as fast or faster than when I got them.

4/5 stars because they don't fit perfectly on my axles (PNLs), which leaves a permanent amount of slop in the axel-to-bearing connection. Also don't fit perfectly in all wheel cores- though this doesn't impede use (I think wheel fit should be the responsibility of the wheel manufacturers).
Lastly, I skate year round and these have seen water, dirt, and road salt.
I've only tried these for a short time of my friends board they were quite old but they were perfect almost gravity defying one push on flat got me going at a decent speed for about 40 m
They have the speed record. 80 mph
Good, quality, comparable
These bearings are tittieeeeeees. Got 'em to spin almost 6 minutes on my O-Tangs. Clean them weekly and you'll never be disappointed. Oh, and they last for ages.
I got these instead of some bones reds I was going to buy for my Tan Tien, I figured only 15 or so bucks difference and it was worth a shot. While these are at least as smooth as the bones on the flat they certainly don't seem any smoother or to roll any farther. I am hoping they will outlast the bones as there is significantly less play with a built in spacer. Where I did notice some real difference was on the hills, these bearings roll like nothing else it was a little frightening how much speed I got on a hill I've run with Reds a hundred times. Bottom line for a downhill bearing these are awesome obviously the record was set with them. Bang for the buck I'd say not as good as a set of Reds for most applications but if you are bombing hills and reaching speeds in excess of 30 mph these guys are sick.
Good bearings but only one drawback
I honestly don't think they align better or worse than Biltins. What makes a bigger difference in alignment is precision or non precision axles. They have rubber shields as opposed to metal like Biltins so if you really want to crank them down, you don't have to worry about bending the shields. The built in speed rings are slightly shorter in length than Biltins, so if you are riding them on cast trucks (like me) if the aluminum at the end of the axle is worn in or wears in the bearing will touch the hanger preventing it from spinning without grinding.
Even better!
Like biltins but have an actual SEAL!
Not worth it
These bearings are not very good for 90 bucks if you want really good bearings for a ok price get oust moc 9 airrr or sector 9 black ball ceramics

Wheel Bearings - Tekton Ceramic - Set of 8.

Set of eight (8) bearings with integral flanged half-spacers and black silicon nitride ceramic balls.

The bearing behind the Official Downhill Speed World Record – 80.83 mph by Mischo Erban!

Breakthrough self-aligning design corrects for flaws in bearing seat levelness, bearing seat spacing, axle diameter and axle straightness.

More than two years in development, Seismic Tekton™ bearings feature wide, flat contact surfaces at the ends of integrated, custom-machined half-spacers. The broad flanges square up, co-align and self-stabilize inside your wheels - correcting for flaws in bearing seat levelness, bearing seat spacing, axle diameter and axle straightness.

The Tektons literally block themselves from sitting or rocking out of alignment, so they stay straighter than any other bearing system ever. Your wheels roll faster with better control, while the bearings last longer and stay quieter.

Other features include: ABEC-7 rating, steel balls, nylon retainers, black outer casing, removable rubber-coated steel seals with printed graphic, and a proprietary lubricant combining both oil and grease.

The inner race is stepped underneath the seal to resist contamination, and it’s stepped between the bearing and the flange to save weight. On the side opposite the flange, the inner race extends 0.5mm to form a thin integrated washer. No bearing spacers, axle washers, or World Record budgets required!

This month, all orders over $19.95 get the newest sticker of the month. When robots take over the world, it will surely be more or less like when humans did: Some will be jerks, some will gather all the power, and some will just want to shred. Ted Cocuzza envisions a world where robots still have the freedom to throw a steezy layback grind on a DIY spot when they feel the need.

As always, every order will come with two free classic Daddies stickers at no cost. We know... we're sweet.
