Reviews
My bear 852's with eliminators
I Have some bear 852's and I am about 140lbs, I have a 93a eliminator with no Washer board side and a 93a barrel with a washer roadside and I love the ride, I did Have the trucks on a nickel board trying something new and it worked great as a downhill board but now I put them on my Sector 9 Dropper and I had bought the board with Caliber 50's but I hated the ride they gave it so I switched it to bear and once again its more responsive it has the turn that I want I do go downhill on it and it handles very well I don’t know why its saying they don’t fit because they fit just fine board side. And I feel like I have a pretty good set up.
Question
I am 12 and lightweight.I have randal 50's with stock bushings. I hear that there are some much better for downhill, but I have never gotten speed wobbles going fast on these. I'm confused, help me out.
@jaxerer
they do not work on Randals. neither to any bushings besides barrels, at least not well
caliber + eliminator?
i just bought them but they feel really weird -.-
Need to clear something up
Bushings don't really stop speed wobbles. People push 50 mph on barrels, and buying these in 90a won't stop you from getting the wobbles. The bushing control the carve of the trucks, not the ability to resist speed wobbles. I tried them once, but I didn't like the uncarviness of them. I prefer double barrels.
curious
are these the new elims or the old, also, do the new ones fit well in aeras?
Randal+eliminator=???
I heard that they don't work on randals r-11 180mm
What do you expect?
They to everything you can expect a DH bushing to do. They dont magically turn your board into a DH machine. Unless you are on an odyssey to burn through cash and make the "perfect setup" go look somewhere else. Now if your riding Paris, Gull wings, or no name trucks you get off of amazon for 30 bucks you dont need these. Unless you are constantly pushing 40 miles an hour, you dont need these. If you are into sidewalk surfing or cruising, or even slow pace "Free riding" stick to double barrels, or cones if your really a wuss. You might as well throw these over your shoulder. However if you are into going so fast you could be seriously maimed these are for you. If you are that 10%. go on ahead. These do the job. Good Hunting.
(reply to In Need of Advice)
I suggest replacing your trucks all together, get a pair of caliber 44's
They won't wobble at any speed :D!
(but if you don't want new trucks then yes these 90a will stop speed wobbles)
HELP!
Also what durometer should i get (150 lbs)
question
Im currently riding an Arbor mission with stock gullwing chargers. Last hill i bombed, i got wheel wobble around 40 mph. Will these bushings get rid of the wobble at high speeds while keeping a surfy feel while carving?
Very nice
I got these in 85a and my weight is 110 lbs. I couldnt turn at all even while going at like 30 or something mph... i guess i would get some 81a or something for a little compression especially for my weight

stability
I weigh about 200 and bought 87a eliminators threw them on my charger trucks which aren't really made for downhill because of there baseplate but I flipped the hanger around and I implore you to get these bushings they are super responsive and are great for stability they aren't really made for carving I plan to go down some hills soon just been busy. My setup 40 inch palisades Rasta racer board with gullwing chargers and sector nine butterballs with bones reads
eliminators?
do I need two packs for one board? which duro is for dh? - Dan Loveland Writes - You will need two packs for 2 trucks. I would go for a harder duro 95a or up for DH depending on your weight.
Khiro Vs Venom
I bought a pair of yellow 85a Venom's. I would say the equivalent of these bushings are Khiro's blue bushings except the fact that the venom bushings have a bigger surface area and equal length. In short the additional width of the bushings makes a small difference to the smooth a fluid performance when you are carving. P.S. i weigh about 165. These bushings are soft, they respond very well, not for downhill, but for major-snappy cruising (Dervish, randal, Purp-Otangs)
First Impression Great
Its raining cats and dogs but it slacked up just long enough for one quick hill. I just threw these stimms in my grizzlies(fit much better than the barrels) and took it on a pretty average hill(30mph). I haven't had much chance to adjust but for runnin my trucks pretty loose they felt really stable and im 185lbs. Feel amazing through leaners. have a really smooth resistance all the way through the sweeper and a buttload of rebound. I'm sure they could only get better but i'll post more info when i get a chance to try em out in more trucks and setups. BUY THEM
Continuation^^^
Ok I got a real session in today and the final verdicts are in. Chargers-great carvy feel when dialed in. a little divy when too loose. Bears-sex, enough said crail- definitely better than jimz. much more lean and a great resistance all the way through turns Randals- still havent tried them on my 42* plates but im sure they will just as amazing as they do on their bear counterparts. This is a MUST HAVE BUSHING. cant wait for the pinks.mmmstarbusrts
Dr.
These do not fit as well as the Venom Barrels. The part of the bushings that sits on the hanger is too small and allows the hanger to slop from side to side. Very disappointed.

Description:

Oh, so you got a taste of speed and now you're looking to take it up a notch? Well, that sounds like you're in need of some Venom Eliminators. These bushings are the most restrictive of the Venom bushings lineup. And what that means, is less twitch and more stability. The Eliminators are larger than your standard barrel bushing, limiting your lean and turn. We recommend only running this board side, or only on the back truck.

If you run 4 of these in your trucks, it will limit your ability to turn. So, 1 pack will be enough for your longboard setup. But if you're on the heavy set side, you're able to run 4 of these in your trucks while still getting lean and turn out of your setup.
