An all new Loaded Board for 2024 has dropped!  A soul machine named the Symtail for it's symtrical double kicktails.  This board is the descendant of the Fattail from over a dozen years ago and even further back their original Pintail.  The Symtail stays true to the Loaded carving systems and as a flexy cambered carving longboard.  Here's a first look video to peep before we get any further in explaining more about this new board, enjoy!
It's construction is made of triaxial fiberglass sandwiched on both top and bottom around a vertically laminated bamboo core.  Also added is a unique top layer of cork that's been used in a few of their other boards, which acts to dampen the ride even more.  With mild concave added, altogether it creates a springy lively feel that riders can pump and carve on like no other.  Riders can mix in a variety of styles of longboarding or just plain cruise endlessly on bike baths, parking garages, back roads, or anywhere you see fit!  The double kick tails are reinforced with added fiberglass so they are stiff and responsive when the rider wants to to use them.  This is perfect for flipping the board up and around for all those new age style dancing and freestyle maneuvers.
If you like having the freedom to do a lot on one board and enjoy carving and a responsive flex and return, then this is the board for you.  It can be ridden so many ways and that has always been the point of Loaded Boards.  They offer an open field of play in a lot of their designs that don't necessary narrow your style of riding too much.  This is especially true in the evolution of the Symtail and it's predecessors.  It's also evident in the progression of the graphics as you can see here.  From their original Pintail models to the Fattail model that came before the Symtail.  The growth of the seed and plant into the tree goes along with this theme very nicely!
Pintail models in 2004, then the Fattail in 2011, and finally the Symtail in 2024.
Here's a video from Loaded Boards showing the board in action from the perspective of artist and rider Ari Chasmasmany.  An insightful view that may give you some inspiration to try and create new things, enjoy!
